AL lore is pretty interesting but it's presented to the player in a disjointed way, and at a horrifically slow pace. It started as a bunch of WW2 battle reenactments but it's shifted into multiverse theory wibbly-wobbly timey-winey shenanigans with pocket dimensions and somesuch. Sirens were the original big bad but it seems like they were just a variant of the shipgirls/kansen that's fucking with our timeline, trying to get humanity to be prepared for whatever extraterrestrial enemy they lost to in the future. Cool concept, not so good execution.

I agree, the russian events usually focus on the "real" world that the commander seems to be a part of and is gathering data for, while the shipgirl world he is in is basically a VR world of sorts? then we get french events that focused on the siren invasions and arbiters while the other factions focus on their RND (sea of stars, whatever is going on with the great sakura, etc) but since they cant just give us 6 months of QE doing things with the british and expend that timeline they have to jump all over the place. Its almost like watching the lore back from the previous year in december makes it make more sense than watching it as it comes out sadly.

on the character interaction point ive always wanted a modern anime style tamogachi like game. the tb thing was close but being able to rush it kinda killed all interest for me. hopefully the new stuff they add scratches that itch

I agree a new game mode is not the way to go. While it yould be fun in the beginning, if would get old quickly and then we would just complain or ask for more. that only leats to unnessesary blote.

yeah look at OpSi they rarely update it gameplaywise most are QoL and part of me wants something new in OpSi but most of the time think of it as a hassle since honestly OpSi takes a bunch of my AL game time

@@zeroone2731I would say expand onto OpSi is a better idea than giving us a new mode to play, theres already a decent amount to do in the game, some simplier than others but all taking time, giving us another "mode" to engage with will surely turn people away from the game as it feels less like something you can pick up and play for 10 minutes and make progress (you know, like a mobile game should be able to do) and more like a full on game (but since its F2P its more of a job/chore than a game)

you should do a simplified lore series like make lore recap for veterans that have been playing the game for a long time but never took the time to follow the lore. i cba watching those 3 hours long videos explaining every single detail. i just want 10-15 mins recap of whats going on if thats possible.
