#makerscreativecollab2024 #metatothepetal P joined for thoughts on her recent visit to the hospital and little stay for the start of a new concertina using the scrapbook paper M had technique'd over the last few streams. The need for extra papers to match presented the opportunity to revisit how the first page was created for panels. Watercolor and foam stamps mixed with distress oxide inks is a fun way to create these papers.

Sadly, I missed the life. I am so, so happy to see you back, Patricia. I can`t believe how great you look. Gosh, you really remind me of my mom... The hospital is certainly no place for critical minds like the likes of Aries :))) I`ve been in the hospital a lot and for more than a month in one piece. I could tell you stories... Coming home is always a happy but also surreal feeling. Every time I arrive home, I kiss the front door before I enter.😂 During your absence, Mariah was a rock. It`s wonderful to know that you`re feeling better. Sending love and a big warm hug your way.❤🤗 Bless you!

I am glad that you are out of the hospital, P! Being in the hospital is a fraught situation; I just returned from a week long stay in the hospital and I agree, completely, with your asssesment of doctors, and most nurses. Most of the nurses were great, but there were two who were charm free and tact deficient, and the doctors, well, total strangers have displayed more compassion. Anyway, I am glad you are out and doing better!😊

It was so frustrating!!!!!!! I do not like to give up control of what is happening to my body--that was the worst!
I love your creation, Mariah. I really love the colour combo. The brown tape fits fabulously. ❤❤❤

So good to see you back, sweet P!! My hospital experience was VERY reminiscent of yours - the nurses were divine, sweet little angels of mercy, and the doctors came and went like ghosts that you only saw out of the corner of your eye IF you were paying attention... LOL And please don't get me going on the food - although upside, after 4 days of not eating I lost some weight LOL Glad you made it out in one piece (more or less), but I'll continue to send waves and waves of good healing thoughts your way. 💜💜💜💜💜

How good to see you again Patricia. My hubby was surprised when he saw P. and asked how is it possible that she is already back there, she just had surgery, right? Patricia, please take your time to heal. I can imagine you are eager to play with your gell plate again but please take your time. Mariah, your booklet already looks so beautiful. I know, I know....it is just so hard but today I will gel plate!!!!!!!! I have been in bed for over a week so the healing is going along nicely I would say.
