A simple way to get big logs out of the forest when you don't have any hydraulic lifting gear or loader to do the job.
I used an old 2002 Ford Ranger Edge to do the towing

Yeah I was thinking of making an Appalachian out of a crook in a Maple branch. Stop the logs from diggin' into the dirt. Thanks as always for your experience based advice!

@@logjammin084 Yeah, we don't have much hard wood here so I need a crook out of a Maple or Alder maybe. But it will be fun to try it out and I just bet it works great. I'd much rather do that than buy a HDP log skidder. I'll keep you updated!

Not sure what part is misleading? I guess they aren't very big logs? but I am a monk (and a bit crazy too!) 😆🤣😆 Or maybe it was an innuendo?😆😆😆

Nothing misleading if you read the channel name you would understand that a Lama is a title for a teacher of the Dharma in Tibetan Buddhism. I have seen far more titles that are clearly misleading.

@@WizzardofOdds Yes I am an fully ordained Gelong, I spent 12 years in retreat and 4 of those were a traditional vajrayana (lama) retreat. I am building a meditation retreat and I decided to move the videos about developing the land to a separate channel so as not to mix then up with the videos teaching meditation and Buddhist philosophy.
