I think it starts playing on their admission gates' Jumbotron at 9:59 AM local time.

Love how the old Colossus area soundtrack is being used again, and the 2007 station soundtrack 👍👍

it would've been cool if stealths launch announcement happen as it was counting down from 3 so the lady still could've said "Thorpe park opens in 5,4" then switch to stealths launch announcement "3,2,1" and then back to the lady saying "welcome to the resort"

(outside the airport) Me: TAXI!!! (taxi pulls up) Me: Take me to a hotel that's the CLOSEST to Thorpe Park, please!! (5 minutes later) Taxi driver: That'll be £8.29. Me: Good thing I converted my country's American money into your country's British currency. (the next day; 8 AM [local time]) Me: I gotta get dressed and get going; I don't want to miss the opening countdown video on Thorpe Park's admission gate's Jumbotron. (Thorpe Park; 9:30 AM [local time]) Me: Got through security real quick; now to wait for the countdown video, which plays every morning at 9:59 AM local. (9:50 AM [local time]) Me: My feet hurt and I FORGOT to pack some foot cream before I left America!! (looks around) Me: (shouting) DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY FOOT CREAM??? MY FEET HURT!!! (5 minutes later) Me: Do you need this back? Park attendant: You can keep it; we ALWAYS keep plenty of that stuff. (4 minutes and 50 seconds later) Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls; Thorpe Park Resort will open in 5 4 3 2 1. Welcome to the Island Like No Other; welcome to Thorpe Park Resort. (ticket booth) Me: One single-day ticket, please. Ticket booth clerk: That'll be £27. (that evening; 7:45 PM [local time]) Taxi driver: Did you have fun? Me: Some of the rides I went on made me feel like I was locked in a pirate ship's bathroom in the middle of a hurricane; but other than that, yes. I got a squeeze-bottle of foot cream on arrival, watched their opening countdown video on the Jumbotron, got on some rides, and bought some cool Sonic the Hedgehog merch by winning numerous 'carnival' games; I enjoyed my day at the Island Like No Other: Thorpe Park Resort. (airport in London; the next day) Me: Nonstop. One person. London, England, to Columbus, Ohio, USA. Clerk: That'll be £198. Me: Here. (gives clerk £200) Me: It's all I've got left; keep the change. Yes, on their big screen every opening morning (you need to get through security before 09:45 to see it!)
