The only thing I disagree with Oisin is the point about Mr Thorpe not being seen as a man of the people. Farage is a millionaire ex City of London Broker who went to Public School and a lot of white working class people somehow think he's the Messiah.

My local seat was won by The reform Party ,we live on the east coast of England and see the boats come in on a regular basis with no obligation to stop them then they drift into our system lost and never to be found ,probably doing nothing for our economy ,what we are saying if it was on your door step would you be any different i think not ,also The Reform Party is not soley about imagination pal very short minded it must be said

Or one of the many other places the English sailed to, invaded and took over? Ever notice how I speak English and not the original language of my country? How do ya think that happened? Do ya think these people on these boats will force you to speak Arabic or French or Swahili? The difference is; when the Brits sailed to somewhere else, it was to invade, steal the land and impose English culture on the locals. The people you see on those boats arriving are fleeing poverty and war and seeking help. They have no intention of taking over your system. In fact, as you said yourself, they merely drift into it, never to be found. They will likely end up delivering food on bicycles or working in a kitchen cleaning dishes. When you say “probably doing nothing for our economy”, do you mean like what Brexit did? Destroying import / export industries and small business all over the country? You mean like that? @@mattselvagn art is moved around from time to time. Pieces have their home town but often do tours to other galleries for small periods. As I mentioned, some might recognise La Grande Jatte from the movie ‘Ferris Bueller's Day Off’ which is set in Chicago. However, I saw it in NYC while it was there. But that’s the narrative isn’t it, any view not theirs is obviously by thugs and racists, normally by people living in an ideal clean safe city not overtaken by crime and filth. And my Dad was an immigrant after the war, who was grateful escaping from communism and worked his fingers to the bone. Most people I think have problems with Islam and how it subjugates its own followers, I wonder if Oisin agrees with for an example how it treats women and homosexuals? So what does that make us? Take one look and we’re just another “gammon” family who’s concerns over mass migration and standards of living can be hand waved as the ramblings of unwashed, uneducated racist hordes by the likes of Oisin. Why? Because of how we look. What do you call that? Oh yeah: prejudice. I have a degree (in politics and literature), own my own company and pay my taxes. Agree fully that the "flippers" damaged our watch hobby some. It got too much about "value" and not as much about enjoyment and true knowledge. Almost to the point it was "gambling" as much as time-keeping.

4P’s Reform party only won 4 seats but won 14.3% of the popular vote. The Liberal Democrat’s won 71 seats but only won 12.2% of the popular vote. Thank fvck for the “First past the post” system. Labour didn’t really win yesterday, more like Conservatives lost. Labours change of votes only increased by 1.6% compared to when they got spanked in 2019. The right wingers are scarily on the rise over here too, we’ve dodged it this time but the next election may not be so easy for Labour

Yes, apparently the overall turnout was very poor. People losing hope, i guess. Though i've seen that a lot of MP's were replaced with ones that are pro-palestine. That's nice to see. I think a lot of conservatives jumped over to Reform. They weren't getting a big enough boner from good old conservatism. They have to turn it up to full-on fascism to get erect.

I’ve had to unsubscribe to PTs feed as his nonsense auto plays when I’m away from my computer. I listened to his recent garbled rant that mentioned “women and children are no longer safe with labour in power”. He’s at the point where he’s rambling gibberish. I’m fairly sure he thinks Khan is the king of London and makes up the laws. After all his years of moaning about crime soaring, no police on the streets etc etc he still can’t join the dots. Nothing to do with years of underfunding. The country is on its ar$e due to penniless people in boats. His knuckle dragging supporters back his bile up with “yea m8 there is a church they turnt into a mosque an I prefer a church cos it’s British”. Beware he who populates his sentences with more emoji’s than letters. His chats tend to be littered with union flags and clenched fist emoji. Pathetic and sad in equal measure. Keep up the good work. That church that was converted into a mosque was done so cos no one was using it as a church anymore. The English aren't a deeply religious people. Even the far-right moaners haven't been to mass in years. And many of those churches remain unused or are sold off to become a hotel, a house or just demolished. Muslims tend to be a lot more devout and they will likely treat the building with more respect than the soccer hooligans moaning about it. As for the "your women aren't safe..." It's simply the most racist crap imaginable. Thorpe either really believes it, which makes him a complete scumbag... or... he knows his knuckle-dragging views will love it and he's doing it for clicks.

Probably a bit of both. The knuckle draggers would be fine if a church gets converted to a Wetherspoons. I’m too lazy to look into it but I suspect the church conversion to a mosque never happened. It was an anecdote told by one toothless yob (who refers to himself as a patriot despite never having a job) to another on a St George’s day march.

Thorpe alienated any sane watch lover with his far right Tommy Robinson/Reform shite. I liked his watch content but the money obsession and weird fascistic leanings came to the fore and the mask that he was some kind of white knight for the community well and truly slipped…
