canute and thorkell is not that bad actually what i mean is they had their reason to kill other than kill for fun in thorkell defense he only kill someone who willing to fight like in war or duel if its wasnt duel or war he seems doesnt want to kill anyone especially civiliant and canute in the recent chapter he masacre the whole village thats more than crazy if you ask me but in his defense he was preventing a virus he killed less than the people he saved what i mean is he saved countless of people by killing down the villagers thats a false philosophy in my opinion but still... canute is not evil he saved more than the people he killed that was his philosophy but floki? he's the one who literally started the show without him vinland saga would be slice of life anime i sure hope thorfinn kill floki but it will never happened

Yeah 100% he could at this point, considering he was able to pull an Askeladd on Garm as he did on young Thorfinn, an opponent equal to Thorkell. It probs would still be a really hard fight, but I can 100% see him winning it.

@@kewinabea5439 The Jomsvikings need a leader, a successor wasn't named as the leader had died suddenly, the current temporary leader is Floki, but he can't become leader since he's 50 and the council won't recognize him as a successor. Floki's grandson: Baldr, is only 10, but Floki is trying to make them recognize Baldr as a successor, and is stalling time for as long as possible until he becomes of age. Thorfinn is the son of Thors, Thors was a mighty Jomsviking to the point that the previous chieftain was going to name him the successor, but he abandoned the cause with Hilda and Ylva in tow. While Thorfinn might not want to be the next leader, the other vikings all recognize him through blood (Thors and Thorkell), merit (Duel with Thorkell, scarring Canute, numerous raids), and age (Thorfinn is atleast 22 years old, above the 19 year minimum, and far from the 50 year retirement limit.
