Really important to remember Simba that in Death Battle, they typically use the original versions of comic book characters. Their showing of clips of the MCU is really just for show for the most part. They are focusing on the traits, abilities, weapons, and history of the original Comic Book Thor in their actual analysis, NOT Movie Thor. This applies to other comic book characters they've had in Death Battle.

Stormbreaker is the hammer you're thinking of, and in the comics it doesn't exist in the way it does in the MCU. In the comics Stormbreaker was just a mjolnir-like hammer made specifically for Thor's friend Beta Ray Bill, and it isn't even as powerful as mjolnir and looks significantly different from its appearance in the MCU. The only two named weapons Thor has ever wielded in the comics is mjolnir and Jarnborn

Death Battle literally have no idea what they’re talking about ever lol. The same scan where Erik Solvang say it’s only connected to 9 realms was taken out of context. He said “The nine worlds you recognize as being a part of the Yggdrasil are just the tip of a… maybe infinite iceberg”. Suggesting that it connects to the infinite universes in the multiverse not just 9 or 10.

Asgard is referred as an “extradiemnsional space” meaning it’s outside the concept of dimensionality, and is constantly stated to be beyond time and space, and that’s just one part of creation. Thor has also been stated to be “archetypal” so that should automatically put him at outerversal. Also RKT the one mentioned in the video is stronger than Odin and Odin and his army have been stated to be able to fight wars beyond the concept of wars.

That's MCU only. This is comics Thor, and in the comics, Stormbreaker was just a Mjolnir-like hammer that was nearly equal to Mjolnir itself in power and was made for his friend Beta Ray Bill to help him protect his people from Surtur's demons.

I always find these battles kind of weird. Throughout the stories of western comic book characters, their powers CONSTANTLY shift between extreme highs, and lows. You basically have to use an amalgamation of dozens of different versions of a character, written by dozens of different authors, just to get the feats for one combatant. Whereas with manga/anime characters, MOST of the time, it's a singular version of a character, with a linear power progression throughout a single story, and it's SO much easier to powerscale. I don't know why, but these types of Death Battles always leave a bad taste in my mouth.
