I love Harry Potter but none of them even come close to being as good as the Lord of the Rings trilogy. That trilogy is absolutely perfect. Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows are really good but they’re not as good as the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

I give credit to Alex for remembering as much as he does from all the Marvel shows. I’ve seen a lot of them and I thought most of them were forgettable, truth be told I couldn’t argue with you about them because I can’t remember anything from them. I think my favourite one was Ms. Marvel, I think… I’m biased because I really enjoyed the G. Willow Wilson run of Ms. Marvel and thought the show did the book justice. Kudos to Alex’s big brain.

I love Alex/Andrew, but continually their worst takes continue not to be their famous "hot takes," (some of which I agree with) but the boys' complete lack of respect for Lord of the Rings. Lord of the rings isn't just "good" or "great" it is absolute peak - from world building, story, filmmaking, action, music, visuals, AURA, and execution of theme. It deserves the love it receives and I wish there was more nerding out about it. It is in my opinion the greatest movie trilogy ever made. yes its a "one time thing" and lotr is not supposed to be a franchise, and its not as exciting to talk about in our modern day era of "franchise hype" but just callin the boys out for their takes, as they would be for some of mine I am sure

alex has some bad takes but boy do i hate the marvel should do one movie a year take. Please explain how it would be feasible to do one movie a year AND progress the story at a reasonable timeframe? Either characters are gonna have like no backstory because they will be shoved into other character's movies or it will take too long too introduce new characters and the actors will age out of the character or might not even want to do it anymore. If they did this starting with iron man 1 we wouldnt even be at infinity war yet. I think 2-3 movies a year is fine.

The Last Jedi is the worst of the new trilogy because it ruined the direction of the trilogy. The Force Awakens was great at the time because it introduced a bunch of interesting questions that you wanted to see paid off. It felt like Johnson just hated Abrams and did the exact opposite as he had planned. The treatment of Luke was also terrible. The guy who spared his estranged, Sith father so that he wouldn’t act on the dark side is now willing to kill his child nephew because he some dark leanings. Also, why not just have him fight Kylo? If that played out the same way, except Luke had used the force to lift his X-Wing from the water and fly it to the fight, then stop the lasers in midair, it would have been one of the best sequences in Star Wars history.

Oh no, I couldn't disagree more with you on Moon Knight. Like the "blacking out for fight scenes" thing is a little frustrating, but the character is ABSOLUTELY interesting and compelling enough, to the point that seeing the mom's abuse in that episode had me convinced through 5 that it would be the second-best show so far, only for them to ruin it in 6.

I'll address Andrew's point by acknowledging that the comedy in "Love and Thunder" is indeed similar to "Ragnarok," but this alone doesn't justify the claim that it is on par comedy-wise which is why many believe Ragnorok to be so much better. Andrew's reasoning hinges on the idea that "Love and Thunder" was created because of the positive reaction to "Ragnarok." While I agree with this, it doesn't address the fact that the quality of the comedy is clearly worse, and the audience reaction reflects that. I meann screaming goats? Cmon....The arguemnt isnt that They both share the same TYPE of comedy and jokes, its that the QUALITY of the comedy and Jokes in Ragnorok are just clrealy better.

The acting and dialogue is objectively atrocious (if you disagree you’re coping), the plot doesn’t even relatively make sense without 7 seasons of a tv series, and even then it’s so rushed, anakins turn is dog shit compared to the novel.
