1:17 I love how Loki literally has a little cluster of people crowded around him, listening to him talk about how he fricking DIED. Like, he was probably having such a good time there before Thor showed up. Endless drinks, partying, chaos, entertainment, he had a high status, someone to scheme about overthrowing, and clearly he was reasonably popular, not to mention the inaccessability of Sakaar would have made it very difficult for anyone to find him, so at least for a while he would be safe from Thanos or Hela... Thor was right, it was perfect for him.

Only in the ways that feed the worst parts of him. I think that's why he's so disappointed when Thor says it. What comes easy to him (being edonistic and manipulative, with crowds of admirers but no real connections, making light of his experiences for the sake of a joke) is ultimately not what he wants to be (somebody to be proud of).

For all of his secret hopes and intentions to be a better man, someone who was loved and adored and admired, this Loki (the Scared Timeline one) never made much of an effort to properly try to become that person, not at least until the very end. He always chose to pursue his more selfish desires because that was an easier feeling of gratification to reach than putting in the hard work into a probably lengthy change, even if the payoff was only shallow and brief.

I love the switchup of Loki saying he is adopted vs Thor usually saying it

1:35 this part is pure sibling energy

1:51 is the beginning of just non-stop subtle chaos. The little snarl that Hemsworth does and the way Goldblum said "Sparkles" made me laugh so hard I woke up my roommate

The Grandmaster never fails to make me laugh.

Plus he could've kidnapped and maybe interacted with some normal Norwegian or Icelandic people who are well versed in that stuff. Also you don't necessarily need a person to know this. Garbage flies into Sakaar almost all the time, any lore or notes about Norse mythology could fly through.

I don't understand the function of it, but basically it release some kind of toxin within his body which functions like a taser. I don’t think that's laser because even Korg can be affected by it and he's made of rocks. It isn’t a simple taser. I don’t understand it but it came from a comic where it can subdue the most powerful superheroes.

God how they made thor look like a sad excuse of his former self. Thankfully at least he had some great moments but that is most likely not even remotely thanks to the director. And only this silly wakapopop guy can come up with a "tazer" like button connected to thor´s neck to "taze" the god of thunder(!!!) to drop down unconscious. Yeah that makes so much sense. Like extinguishing a blazing forest fire with a lighter.. surely going to make it go out instantly.
