This is the quintessential Thor story, man he's being so well written. These last few issues really show the growth of not only Thor but seeing Odin through the eyes of someone he loves. Intense father/son relationship becomes one of love and tragedy! Kudos to the writers!

You’re the best at breaking down comic book stories. I like Rob at comics explained but he can make a five minute story take an hour

That's because Rob wastes time talking about things that have nothing to do with the story and laughing for no reason. Then he gets down to the story. He somehow makes a ton of mistakes talking about the actual story aswell

I see a lot of younger folks loving this Thor. My biggest problem is the Nerfing Of the Destroyer. Until the last several years, was Canaan that the destroyer was far more powerful than Mangog and was the mightiest weapon ever created by the all father. It was meant to fight the Celestials (back when they were all powerful themselves), it had the shared might of all of the “earth born“ sky fathers across all of the different mythological pantheons, the armor was made of a substance that was far stronger than captain America shield, Adamantium and the power that the armor could generate could shatter any substance including those meant to be indestructible like aforementioned indestructible metals. Mjolnir even at its mighty as, the use of the God blast couldn’t put a scratch on that thing. The destroyers ultimate weapon could annihilate anything caught into his blasts. It’s force balls it’s shot could punctured a hole and injure anything. All of that went out of the window to tell a story that was essentially meant to weaken a nearly invincible character and made everything into inconsistent sewage. Even social media with his memory of a dandelion seeds can’t cover up Amberton this did not exist. Unlike this sort of thing that definitely happened during all ages of comics, the Internet doesn’t forget and no amount of latter-day on creative editor/writers/fanboys I’m going to be able to recover the parts that sloppy Writing and Cavalier creative licenses throws away.
