I Loved Thomas Whitfield as a child

I'm always listening to Thomas Whitfield, for over 30 years. I remember when he passed when I was in college. Students from Detroit drove back and some to sing in the choir. Thomas Whitfield and Company is still my go to music when I want to feel like I'm closer to God or want to be heard 🥹. His music is so linear. The worship is beyond our stratosphere.

Thanks for sharing!! Thomas Whitfield did a workshop here in Baton Rouge, and I learned so much. He’ll forever be my favorite. I wish I could’ve sat under his teaching, he and Bishop Iona Locke

Thank you so much for this..I am so fortunate as Tommy truly was and still is my musical mentor..a few months before his passing he did a workshop in Atlanta… I was a graduate student at Tuskegee University and drove to Atlanta to participate.. we meet we talked and he laid hands on me prophesied over my life…it is so amazing that every time I teach Tommy songs the anointed falls so heavily.. just so greatful that our paths crossed.. RIH… see you in the rapture!!!!!

They look and sound so much alike. On certain songs like My Faith and It's a Wonderful Fellowship, it was hard to tell which one was which.
