Since we’re focusing on seasons 1-7, I think Emily should’ve been in a good section, since her more rude and bossy traits didn’t become apparent until season 8. In season 7, she’s a total sweetheart who showed concern for Henry and Salty when they weren’t well. Overall though, great list!

I don’t really picture Mavis as the mother figure in the show, but I would say good friend since she cares for her friends. As for the evilest character, I would say Diesel Ten since he tries to destroy lady the most magical and good character of the show. Great chart of the characters.

I love lots of the characters ❤ maybe not the bad guy ones (maybe diesel?) but it’s fun to explore the moral angles of the characters. It makes you more fascinated with them.

Edward probably should have been way higher on the list considering everything with in the railway series

We all know who Thomas' most evil villain is here; Mattel. Seriously, since late 2017, Mattel has been trying to send Thomas to the scrapyard, doing such things as pull Thomas' show from PBS, decrease the quality of Thomas' merchandise lines, make DVD releases more scarce, pull Edward and Henry from the Steam Team in favor of newcomers Nia and Rebecca, make a spin-off that the Rev. W. Awdry would never have approved of, and disrespect Britt Allcroft's wishes to keep the spirit of the classic series alive by blocking uploads of classic Thomas and Shining Time Station from KZread. Many fans, myself included, feel that Mattel's days with Thomas are numbered and the franchise can only improve in quality if another company acquires the rights. I've started two petitions to get Thomas back on the right track; one to get Orbrium to acquire the Thomas license so they can make Thomas Wooden Railway engines and rolling stock, and one to get Mattel to stop blocking uploads of Classic Thomas and Shining Time Station episodes from KZread. Honestly, the most evil characters in my opinion are Diesel 10, George and Max and Monty.

We don't know lady's character so she shouldn't be in 1st place, but Toad is good, he is the best brakevan.

Thomas and friends has been my childhood favorite show ever since I was three years old and I still love it to this day my all time favorites are Toby the tram engine, Stepney the Bluebell engine, the narrow gauge engines of the Skarloey railway, Donald and Douglas the Scottish twins and Henry and Edward thanks for sharing this amazing video showing some of the good and bad engines from the world of Thomas and friends 👍❤️

When comes to magic railroad character being ranked from to Good to Evil, that should be a separate whole separate vehicle since magic railroad is considered noncanon from the main series. And when comes to the main train characters from the main series, you can rank them for their actions exclusively from the movie, and should mainly focus on the finalized version of the film, not the directors cut with PT Boomer.

I think Diesel 10 should be most evil. In TATMR, he attempted to scrap (i.e. KILL) all steam engines on Sodor, meaning he’s the only character in Thomas to attempt genocide.

Imo Thomas is perfect in grey area really the hardest character to place considering his morality jumps back and forth between seasons here's his morality in each season 1: grey he has his conceited moments like down the mine and his 2 book adaptations but he has his noble moments like breakdown train and stepping in during trouble in the shed 2: upper grey no shock here thomss is at his worst year having a bone to pick with everyone he interacts with except for edward just look at better late then never dude literally said fuck the passengers 3: good he's definitely a lot nicer and more willing to support others 4: lower grey almost good but hes more conceited than season 3 5: good hes matured in this one the most being a voice of reason to james and being the only character james could reason with in season 5 6: lower grey he would absolutely be good if not for his antics in scaredy engines 7: grey search for fergus and three cheers absolutely put him in good BUT we all know theres 3 episodes where him and percy tag team on an engine one was literally sick and the other incident led to a crash

You know i dont wanna give a lecture to a guy that is my role model but im gonna say it you should do some TUGS content you know that show as old as Thomas about tugboats because if you haven't heard, TUGS is the sister series of Thomas, Alas Big mickey the crane is in the show along with railways where there was a train i think called what was it? What would be interesting is if there was another moral axis added on like lawful and chaotic to show the spirit of the law as well as the letter of the law. For example I think Diesel 10 would be chaotic evil while Diesel would be lawful evil. And Toby would be lawful good.
