Man, this was a crazy experience. I had a blast with Thomas and his E93. I ended up editing this video and lost half of the editing progress about 4-5 hours into editing. So I had to start over. Convertibles were never my cup of tea, until I bought a E46 M3 Vert and did a full exhaust. Nothing like the top down in those moments. I loved my E90 M3, but this makes me want an E93

E46 m3 vert owner as well. Used to hate on verts for the added weight but man, theres nothing like going to mexico with the top down. I'm definitely removing the heavy ass seats and putting in a half cage soon. Also the vert mechanism is pretty damn good. No issues. Had mine for a year now.

This guy has a nice build I love it, he's put some work on it, alloys, tires, brakes calipers/pads/discs, suspension, engine, roll cage,exhaust, seats, aesthetics. Everything fire

The E93 M3 is also my first convertible. I never wanted a vert but seeing them hard top still looks like a coupe so best of both worlds!

have you ever driven a coupe? hows the chasis rigidity compare between the two? since its not a cloth top im guessing there ouldnt be much of a difference

@@ThtGuyIzRippin Ive driven a couple. There's definitely a weight difference mostly but I can't really say in rigidity. I drive back streets pretty hard and feel pretty comfortable

Finally e93 getting some love

The way I ended up with my e93 is a long story too but now that I have it I fell in love ... totally different experience... sound and feel

I love how different the S65 sounds with all different exhaust setups. No 2 sound the same but they all sound amazing. I went with just a straight muffler delete and the truth is you can't go wrong with any exhaust on these cars.

pretty similar story how i ended up with my e93, wanted a sedan, couldn't find one, ended up with getting the craziest deal on a 63k mile 2011 m3 that ive ever seen convertible or otherwise. of course, i didn't want the convertible for the obvious reasons that everyone complains about but i will say that the moment you drop the top and let it rev out to 8,250, you will never complain about the 0.1 second drop in 0-60 time ever again. Save yourself $5-10k if you're in the market for an e9x, get the convertible. trust me, you won't regret it.

This car is awesome on the outside. Basically everything I would do. Track vents , wing , roll cage , canards & rear diffuser , bigger brakes .. but it’s missing a super charger

One of my fave m cars...even if they’re slow af for today’s standards. I do think that this specific car looks awkward when the top is down and I think it’s due to the wing. The wing looks good just not so much when the tops down. To each their own though!
