Rob McNelley is a top Nashville session guitarist. If you like country music chances are you have heard his guitar work on countless country music hits. He has also played on records in various other styles with artists from Delbert McClinton to Joe Bonamassa. In 2014 he was awarded AMC’s guitarist of the year. When he is not in the studio he can be seen playing along side classic rock legend Bob Seger as his touring guitarist. Its amazing to me that the actual guy who recorded this has given me permission to say to the "guitar ass" who says to me "Thats not how it goes on the recording man!" - Yeah, well, Rob said he just threw the flavor in for taste when ever he felt like it, so go... well you get the point! I want to brag a little here. I had the privilege to have this young Rob Mcnelly play with me way back in the ‘90’s. Then he played on and produced my second cd Out of the Nest. I love this guy. He is the perfect guitar player.

Yeah for sure. Rob has tons of killer guitar parts on music I wouldn't necessarily listen to. He is such an amazing guitarist. Lots of stuff coming out with Rob soon.

I love these videos Rob gives excellent lessons, second only to yourself of course Brett! I know Rob didn't write this tune so I don't mind saying that i reckon the writer was listening to Van Morrison 'Days Like This' as he wrote it.... just saying.

I was looking for a tutorial of this song and all the thumbnails had an acoustic in it. I found the first one with an electric and oh look it's the actual guitarist that recorded it!! Why do other tutorials exist hahaha

Can't wait to here the news! You guys should hold a "fan jam" and let a couple of us viewer come and jam! Only a 4 hour ride for me.
Its awsome to see it from the actual guitarist i remember sitting in a place im not proud I was trying to learn this but the guitar was always out of tune and always had missing high e string hmmn wonder why?
