We have not been playing through the middle and we have been struggling . We miss partey .He always breaks the first line of the press and comes in the middle ,giving us a chanvce to outnumber the opposition .He is also comfortable passing in between the lines .We need to find someone as good .Declan Rice is a different kind of player ,offers us more protection at the back , but partey has better qualities on the ball.The both of them playing together would give us so much

After watching the UCL game against RC Lens, I realized just how much we need this guy. He isn’t scared to go forward with the ball and make things happen.

When this guy is at it, his passing accuracy is next level...He makes it look so easy.... Hope Arsenal can keep him.

His passing is like lazer precision. His faints and turns while receiving ball is on another level.

Watching Partey play is just so so beautiful He makes everything looks so easy for the team, the attackers, him not around is the reason our attackers are still struggling atm

I feel sad whenever i see partey compilations because we have never doubted his skills and abilities but his injuries have been so so so frustrating. He was the star signing who could be legend here. If he played even 5 games more last season maybe we could have won pl. I think coming summer arteta is going to sell him and its understandable on mikels part. He has to be ruthless. He is one of the 'what cud have been' stories. One thing i am still looking forward to is him at least being fit for rest of the season that we have and help us in the title race. I don't know what was going through their minds when Declan Rice and Havertz came; then they wrote that the midfield trio of arsenal 23/24 season was Rice-Havertz-Odegaard.. Declan Rice is a good player, but he’ll never in his life be able to replace what Partey brings in terms of control and breaking the press with Cruyff-turns etc. The view that Rice was a replacement for Partey had to be wrong - Rice is a new role that the squad didn’t have before. Similarly I think Havertz is mainly a Xhaka replacement not a Jesus back-up.

Well, Havertz was clearly a mistake. But I agree with everything else. But why doesn't Arteta play Zinchenko in that 'Xhaka' position. We won't need havertz if he did that. And Zinny won't get as exposed defensively as he's been. Heck, he plays midfield for Ukraine and he's one of their best players. SMH!

He was the reason we competed last season. Rice is the reason we competed this season. I knew 3 years ago if you added Rice next to him (and he was fit) arguably could be the best CM partnership in world football rn. Shame he's been injured again. Despite his injury problems and his age we aren't getting better than him even if it makes sense to sell him in the summer. We can get a younger, more available quality CDM but wont be as good as a fit Partey that's for sure
