1917. What a movie. And the soundtrack is the icing on the cake.

The beginning before the rest of the orchestra starts is just so freakin beautiful. Anyone else understand music the way I do? If you are here, you understand. The most beautiful sounds slowed. I see my younger self in the woods walking alone. Its like slo motion in my head. Just hearing this brings back the memories. I didn’t know what I wanted to do. Didn’t know what I would become. Was afraid of everyone hating and judging me. But I became the professional videographer and traveled all over filming for things I never imagined

That’s amazing! I feel the same way you do. I hear music in my head, from the trees, from my memories, and it plays like a soundtrack to my life. I believe music allows us to see levels and dimensions of life that we can’t always see with the naked eye. I wish you the best on your journey!

Nah, there are some harder things to go through out there

3:56, as soon as Schofield closes his eyes, alone by the tree, and there's a brief black screen, I always get goosebumps, I could cry. It's the end of a journey. I don't know if anyone else felt like this, but Roger Deakins did such an amazing job at capturing these soldiers and their journey, the one "continuous shot" made me feel like I'm just a 3rd wheeler, not actually contributing to the war, just watching what they go thorough, the hardships etc. Everyone did an amazing job on this film, from the crew, to the actors, even Thomas Newman, portraying this film so well, through music.

It’s truly a masterpiece, all those men on all sides suffered and endured all were on a journey I strongly recommend watching all quiet on the western front (recent one) as it shows us a man’s journey from the German perspective

1917 is a veritable masterpiece. A perfect movie.

This hits so different. I freaking love it

I used to think that the sacrifices made by the two greatest generations in the history of humankind were for nothing. That we never learned from them that evil must always be faced down and defeated. That today’s generation is too selfish and soft. Well, I was wrong. And Ukraine is a case in point. We’re all going to have to step up soon if we value what’s right - some more than others. Slowed or normal, this music is as timeless as war itself and the perpetual battle between good and evil. And it will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Today 03/02/2023 my dog is in the final phase. His eyes were drooping and he was very bad because of cancer and listening to this song brings tears to my eyes, simply knowing that he will no longer be with us and that at the end of all his departure it affected all of us, especially me being his owner . Only God knows where his soul will be. But I hope he can forgive me because I didn't do more for him and someday with God's permission he allows me to meet him again. I feel like "ours" life experience is a miserable one, but if you manage to fight your demons away you will see how incredibly beautiful life is... You might feel alone but there are a lot of us who feel just the way you do

Very sad song

I was just driving this morning around 4 am and hurt this and decided to write this My girlfriend that I’ve know for all my life that’s has always been there walked away for no reason and it hurts because my best friend my brother disrespected me in the worst possibles way 😪💔 The sunset 🌅 I rest my head at nights with a heavy heart I wake up thinking that it would be different because it’s a new day but sadly when i tap into my heart I feel that heaviness weighing my soul down As I sit alone and the sunsets, my thoughts start to take over and I get lost in the vast blackness of it all Wondering and searching for answers as to where did our love go all wrong ? Why did it have to end this way I cry I run I fight I stand But nothing seems to make this pain go away As I sit here alone thinking wondering being consumed whole again I wonder can Can I survive this I’ve been fighting for soo long My heart is tired 😪 No! I am tired my soul my heart my body just wants to rest now I just want to sleep with smile not wanting to wake up because in the world of dreams is the only place I see you again 😞💔 I don’t think I’ll survive any more 😞💔
