Long time no see 👋 I was lucky enough to catch the live-action Thomas models on display at the Hara Model Railway Museum in Yokohama while I was on a trip through Japan.

For those who don't know, many of the original engine models/props from the live-action TV series Thomas & Friends (previously Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends) are displayed and cared for by the Hara Model Railway Museum in Yokohama. They are exhibited only a few times each year, so it's a truly treat when they are displayed in place of the museum's usual fleet of engines and rolling stock.
The museum staff were lovely. Their care for the models and the entire layout was clear through conversation and presentation. The only engine that I didn't catch during my visit was Mavis, however she was scheduled to run later in the day.
Witnessing my little childhood heroes on that layout made for a very special day. A fitting sentiment for my first upload on this channel in over a decade. Hoping you are all well!
