Sony had a small window to get this recorded, with both being so busy. I think they were fortunate, because Morissette and Ben just come off as loving what they're doing, so it visually sells the song. You see it in the outtakes, and it translates throughout the whole video. In all seriousness , I think this song is a bop, Given a chance to be heard in Christmas song rotation , stream/radio too. I think it has holiday staying power! You can't be still when its on, it sticks, you're gonna come away singing that chorus. Ben has a contemporary keen tone, and as he said himself, Morissettes raw voice is spectacular, so light hands were on the edit board, because it's a voice you don't mess with both sound great together !
