i went to the one in long beach CA, and it was amazing there were so many tricks, one of the actors did a triple axel it was amazing, I think it just depends where the location is!

The reason they have less jumps and tricks is because they often lead to flubs and falls. Even elite competitive level skaters fall or have to back out of a jump, and Disney didn’t have access to that level of skaters, but were still trying to get that level of performance out of them. Not only is it harder to hire skaters who can execute those manoeuvres (axles for example are a matter of strength), but pull them all off every single time, for multiple shows a day. They scaled back to get a cleaner, more achievable performance over all.
