Using this tutorial, I ended up making a sling for my rifle. It took one 100ft strand of paracord to create a 3'6" sling. Took me 23 hours of labor over the course of 3 days. But it turned out perfectly and I was really thankful for this video!

Hey. Thanks again for the great video! I turned this into an adjustable guitar strap. It used 100’ of main color and 12’ plus 5’ of another color for core strands and the adjustable portion.

I just finished weaving this pattern. But I did it with some buckles and a tan 550 paracord. It's got that vintage look. I'd definitely like to weave another one of this pattern again.

on and off, took all day, but got it done!! ended up using 35ish ft and 5 ft, used it all up in order to maintain length. will use as a stored paracord method for friction fire bow (5' sheath), packframe lashing (5' strands), ridgeline (35' sheath), spring pole traps (35' strands) in conjunction with a steel bottle cook kit. condenses it well and flat, looks cool, could become a wide shoulder strap if needed. thanks a bunch!!

  • @packmanbp

I'm going to have a go at this weave I think to make myself a strength bracelet using not one but three watch buckles (I like a challenge) here's what I'm thinking : Instead of knots on a jig you attach the cord to the buckle making several loops (for the conq weave) and letting your two ends go from each side of the buckle to make your "frame", then you start with the main weave attaching the conq weave to the loops on the buckle. For the end buckle I think you could make loops with one end of the "frame rope" and make the other end go through the loops, once all is done, tightened and melted I think it should hold pretty well. If you watch WoE tutorial for the conquistador watch band (undone watch) it will give you some starting points. Have fun on your project !

Reader beware that the breaking strain of paracord is higher than the breaking strain of your wrist or neck. It is advisable to use a weak attachment, such as usual string, or a plastic buckle, so that in the event of the bracelet being caught, it can break free before doing damage.
