    HINDZ you are my mentor. My only mentor. My life has changed drastically because of you. You're selfless, always sharing wisdom and care for others of all walks of life. Not only do you help me learn to be a better man and work on myself but you have inspired me to share that knowledge and calm collectiveness with others. In simple words but with great meaning. Thank you for being you.

    I feel like this message is exemplified through actors who meticulously change their entire lifestyle outside of their role in order to better represent the person they are embodying. For example, for the Malcolm X Movie, Denzel Washington stopped eating pork and totally devoted himself to the role. Thank you for the videos as always Hindz

    A revelation I came to about myself earlier this week is that I need to self-discipline, and I hadn't experienced that kind of positive discipline in my childhood, so I don't really know how to. Re-parenting is difficult, and I love the idea of devotion as a kind, gentle yet stern way of keeping myself disciplined! Enjoyed the video

    Thank you for this vid, I really was struggling with getting back on track, my routines gone out the window and feeling really shitty about where I am right now. I've noticed that I'm much more optimistic and feel good/more like myself when I check things off the list but at a point it felt like those checklist placed extra pressure which is why I removed that practice. Needless to say, I have been struggling a lot more and am starting all over.

    Just as you can wonder why you're practicing a discipline you can wonder why you're devoted. Because of these questions you must lack clarity so it is clarity that nourishes discipline. Edit: without guidence you will get lost, with clarity there is guidance.

    Is the same way religions work? Providing spiritual structure? I don't know why but for some reason I like the idea of being free to do what ever i want, but you said we can be free within the structure. It made me think of spirituality for some reason. Also laws. They provide structure and society can be free within a structure because everyone following laws they agree on make society flow im guessing. Any thoughts about this is welcome. It's funny too because a lot of people want to have a business because they think they can just do whatever they want, but without structuring yourself as if you are at a job, you wont be successful.❤

    The worst thing is to think you’re “supposed to be some kind of version of yourself”. Supposed by who, by what? You’re not supposed to be nothing, people try to do too much, just fukkin live your life and stfu

  • @shawntelchinn84

    @shawntelchinn84

    I guess that depends on if you're happy with the person you're choosing to be or not. Eg. Lazy version of yourself vs. Disciplined. I was so lazy and I was, like you said, living my life and stfu, but i wasn't happy. I realized I could be a disciplined version of me. Now i am a completely different person from who I used to be. Well the same person but a different version.
