I've never sketched out a card. I just make them and then take a picture. I guess I could put the photo in there and then write down what I used but it would probably be a waste for me. Nice idea, just not for me. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

This is awesome thanks! It never even occurred to me to sketch out my cards. I take photos after they’re done and screen shots of other people’s cards i want to make, but there’s such a hodgepodge of cards in my photos when i want to find one again that i can’t!!

If you sell your cards,It's pretty cool,because you can document what you used to make the card with, and make a bunch of them. I love the snowflake card😊❄

I sketch out my scrapbooking layouts but rarely my cards (I just picture the finished card in my head a go for it)… but I should perhaps try the sketching idea with my cards, too. It does seem organized (and I could always use more “organized” in my life).😂 Your snowflakes card turned out absolutely beautiful.

Thanks, Rebecca! I alter between sketching and creating from my head. I find that when I sketch I can troubleshoot ahead of time. It helps me figure out if I can actually do what I have in my head. 😆

Looks amazing - my only improvement would be pages that don’t bleed through and a couple extra pockets otherwise this is a winning product. Those details won’t deter me from wanting this gem!

I knew I needed it. I've got a few home made versions of that including the pockets, pages with mating sizes, sizes of cards etc. My biggest problem is finding a book with pages that turn easily and fold back flat. Thanks for sharing!☮️💜🌞

My cards never turn out the way that I have in my head. They change as I'm working on them, so I take a photo of the finished card with my phone. That way I can share my work with people who are interested and look back on them if I want to make another one. Color depends on the paper I'm using and I'm using up my tons of paper that I already have so no need to keep a record of colors. That said, this might be just want someone is looking for.

Mine turn out the same and sometimes change too. I’m hoping the act of planning will help me focus a little better. 🙂

I don't know if drawing would be a good idea for me since I can only draw stick figures. That being said, I did not think of drawing out my card. I thought of playing around with the dies and or stamps.

It only works for right-handed people. I'm left handed, and the large spiral binding is my worst nightmare, because it really hurts to rest my hand on it! The company should recognize this and make the notebook right AND left handed friendly.

The pages are actually double sided so depending on which side of the paper you use the spiral binding will change sides. 🙂

Wow! Thanks for sharing this. I used your link to get one but realized the shipping to Canada is almost as much as the price of the product!! 😭 I’ll have to wait another month or so. I’ll be sure to use your link at that point again.

I just saw the same, I really want this, I hope they sell this book at a Canadian retailer. I don't want to have to pay duty and border fees on top of that shipping amount.

Whether my handwriting is messy depends on what and where I’m writing. If it’s something I feel like is a throwaway item, my handwriting is much messier. I’ve got years of knowledge about myself to back that up. 🤣
