So a version of the Johnson and sue compost extract it's a great start ✌️

Good to see you got the kg's ratio correct. Learning from your errors. The cameras look fantastic. I hope the trial works well. Some great camera angles nd wishing you well for good growing conditions.A fair bit of rain around this week.

Seed inoculating is one of the most easy and cost effective ways to improve soil microbiological populations in cropping systems. Keep us posted on germination and growth comparison as well as yield data

Definitely will! Early signs show germination to be similar to control. Seeing root growth will be interesting though. Also keen to monitor loosely in future seasons

hey Mark why a 12m seed drill rather than 18m for your traffic control measures. last place I was at was 40m (with fence nozzles) 36m main spray boom spray. 18m seed Drill and think we were 13.3 m fronts but off setting and using 12m wasn't perfect for sure

With the controlled traffic, could you pull a ripper thru the wheel tracks every couple of seasons? Bit of work, but may make a difference

Yes definitely would be possible but want to be careful not to create a tillage hard pan at depth too. For me controlled traffic is more of a luxury with some small financial and operational benefits. But I really do like how neat it is!!

Onion is in Melbourne doing a chippy apprenticeship. Depends how busy he is, he might be back for harvest 🤞🏼

That’s exactly right!

If your trying to get everything on ctf the header seems like the easy first choice to change. My bet whenever it does happen you will end up a 9770.

Who knows what we’ll go mate 😅 actually not far from a smaller control, 9m header 13.5m seeder just need to cut the boom down to 27m

I think we would still see results even with sheep. Sheep also tend to spend a lot of time on existing wheel tracks especially in tall stubble

If possible I’d like to stay away from both of those things in our soil type. It’s more of a last resort act both of them.
