actually some really good tips in here, too many times when i win the bal back defending i try to go for a direct counter, seems it would be better to just keep possesion and wait around for the passing options

The r1 calling players short when you got not options really is a game changer never thought of doing it ever really until watching your videos, really helps when versing people who press crazy and you have no passing options, I used to panic pass and turn the ball over but utilizing r1 to call players short really helps, thank you!

I don't like legacy defending players. Like. EA need to nerf that sh!t. It's too overpowered. Like the skill gap between players doesn't exist anymore. Legacy defending is the worst. I play advanced defending but once u get rats that have mastered legacy defending you'll wonder what's even the point of this game. It gets super stupid. Would love to hear u guy's opinions. Cheers

Also how do you r stick so fluidly to each player since I feel like my brain knows what I need to mark but me actually switching to the player takes so long to get to them the opponent has already passed it to them

Thank you for the support! It is of course situational, but the general rule is we want to be controlling a player to cover runs, whilst the AI presses the ball holder for us

idk if this game is for younglings. my mechanical skills is not that great. im having hard time pressing change player l1 and press jockey and sprint and timing for tackle. ill never go over 7 wins in champs

Well, I have a few problems. First, the opposing team has a heavy press and maybe 8 of their players are in my field when I want to start the game and I can't get the ball out.If I take it out, more than 4 of the opponent's players will mark me and take the ball from me.The next problem is that no matter how much I get between the players, the game does not stop the passes for me and the ball goes past my player.In this regard, every pass in depth, whether from the middle or from the sides, causes a gap in the defense line, and the players do not make any effort to prevent the pass.The next problem is that I can't get a player close enough to the opponent and my player is too far away from the opponent and the opponent can easily deceive my player or overtake him quickly.The next problem is that every time I change the team's tactics for defense, they don't work the way I want. For example, I want the defense line to come forward and form a press from above, but this does not happen and there is no change

Hey jamboo, not a defending question but how important is timed finishing? Im a div 4 player but stuck at 11 wins in futchamps. Alot of the time i have double the amount of shots as my opponent but still lose. The reason i dont use it now is because of delay but i am willing to try and learn if it makes a big difference. Atleast this year his rating is symbolic of his real life performance. Too many times we’ve had shit defenders to be ridiculously good at fifa. Remember the Gomez Liverpool and smalling utd days. Thank fuck that’s in the past

I'm really done fc24, it's just unplayable.

I’ve only recently changed from old gen to ps5 and now I understand why everyone complains about this game. Can’t get to grips with it what so ever. Dreadful

Struggling with champs....

Although this is very effective, this style is too boring for my my style :(. I am all in attacking and skill move all over the place.

That didn't help. I play against an opponent (not utlimate just normal FC24( and as well as i can attack, he can literally dribble all my defenders. My AI defenders literally do nothing and part like the red sea for an easy shot which i can't comprehend. The Ai, literally is not defending or anything.

Completely different to PS4 set up

Im not trynna hate but I rather lose a few times then play like that. And give all my opponents a horrible time in those 90 minutes. I watch a lot of pros and literally nobody plays like this only you.

The game RUBBISH these days. It ain't football no more. EA Sports needs to get rid of tricks, fast football, bad matchups, terrible scripting etc etc

I get it he is trying to make money from KZread but teaching people that playing that sweaty is better than playing and having fun is so toxic. These people are the reason the game is finished for a lot unless you really want to bore yourself to play this sweaty each game.

physically isn't enough time to start explaining stuff in depth before the next starts happening. I am telling you what I am doing before it happens still, such as tracking runs, offside traps and dragging players back. Also the attacking side I try my best to share where I am looking to play the ball
