Jennifer Zavala I, too, have no one to share this music with. Came across “Quiet” on a Pandora station, it absolutely floored me. Been listening to TWDY every night in bed. I honestly think the music is so open to interpretation as I get get down at times listening to it but regardless it is stunning stuff.

This song has brings out a deep connection to me, I've tried to share it with friends but they just think its boring. Some reason it brings to mind everyone I've lost and my failures in life. But also for some reason it's also uplifting and helps me keep going for not only for myself, but for everyone I've saved and continue to save in the future. The artist is quite remarkable really.

this song is a good example of how composition can usurp the need for weird time signatures or complex chords to be interesting. In the intro portion, the guitar hangs on certain chords when you expect it to move on. When it climbs up in register, it creates a powerful emotional effect. Then the song transitions into something more beat driven, ending with a typical chord progression, but still interesting. It's simplicity in melody juxtaposed with its flowing and ever-changing structure make it captivating.

Every hair on my body lifted up as I stood frozen gazing at the beautiful and gently moving horizon.

Why can't life be perfect like this song?

Don't bother trying to get others too like or see why you like this kind of music. If you like it then that's all you really need. That's the conclusion I came to. This music brings me peace and that's why I love it.

We're learning that every single thing in the Universe is frequency and vibration...so music...is life. Maybe this kind of music touches just the right frequencies. Sure feels like it. Love it.

I think this one of the few bands that bottles emotion into music so well, and does so without lyrics. Lyrics seem to restrict a song to what a person is thinking, but music like this relates so much more to what a person is feeling...usually quiet desperation.

Only 8 people who disliked it? is the world finally changing? I like rap and rock and all that stuff too but Post-Rock holds a special place in my heart. There is simply no other music that speaks to me the same way.

This was the first song i heard from this band, i came across it by accident, at the time i was into Screamo, and thought "This will destroy you" was a heavy metal band, instead i found happiness and peace. I find my dream. This did destroy me, who i was, and i was reborn into something better. Something more connected within myself. Something... I can't explain. I will have a playlist of all these songs at my funeral.
