I feel like this program is a more open-sourced version of UTAU in a way. In UTAU, you upload syllables and it strings the data together to form words. This works decently enough in japanese but with how many different syllables there are in english the distortion becomes more audible.

I think the program requires each letter to be spelled separately and then using an audio filling empty pitch difference between letters & filtering out any high pitch that cant match.

Nonetheless, ai voices have evolved since Uberduck days with the power is ai voice covers of various songs using various voices and they sound more accurate than Uberduck or Fake You. And some like Kits Ai even allow even free voice cloning of whoever you want once you find out how to make 1.
