Just wanna say thanks for all the informative videos, I'm a seasoned fallout 3, 4 and Vegas player, but only touched 76 about a month or so ago and you're videos have been a great help to me, thanks!

Furious and executioners are kinda slept on. I ran with an executioners fixer for a bit and I was running through enemies quite easily. Furious on heavy guns makes me work on my aim and focus more. Not top tier but also not the worst

I got this a couple days ago and thought, "this seems pretty good." I've been using it a lot since and find it a lot of fun; my first railway rifle, I'm still too new to know what is actually "good" or "bad," but I've had good results with it.

I see all these bloodied builds and I think, is this the start of the Children of Atom? Did it start with the 76ers? Super powerful with the enlightenment of radiation. I’m glad the railway rifle ended up being furious instead. That being said; why does it seem like all the weapon rewards from skyline valley are for commando builds?

As someone who’s been using shotguns, starting a new riflemen with this weapon is a good start, as i have not been lucky getting good legendary effects on a normal railway, so a great weapon to start if you want to try the railway rifle

I absolutely love this weapon, it’s such a great weapon especially since it has the weightless legendary effect

honestly glad they didn't give it bloodied it's strong enough as is and it means it can go well with my non bloodied build. plus if ghouls really do change how rads don't lower your health it'll be an all around better weapon

The legendary guns you get from quests or events are usually just about usable, outside of a couple guns which are really good, like the Holy Fire, Elder's Mark and some of the new release weapons. I do wish they gave us the option to re-roll the new railway rifle though to get the roll we wanted

At first I was a little upset that they changed the perks on the railway. But then I actually played with it. I definitely think it’s better this way. It would’ve been over powered with bloodied💀

It’s my first Railway too - loving it. What mods do you have on yours? I dont think I have that barrel!! I dont run bloodied builds, i have this thing about face tanking 99% of the encounters i have.

I have been using this weapon since I unlocked it simply because it has Mothman on it, and have slowly fallen in love. The only problem is I’m a little newer to the game, downloading it when it was on sale and the Mothman Equinox event started, taking a break, and now regretting not completing the Scoreboard. With that said, any tips on how to keep it fed? Also…. forgive me if this is a stupid question but how do you have 6 Legendary Perk slots?

I could see ticket being a solid choice if you have another railway rifle you're trying to roll for say bloodied and quad and what not in the meantime

I was wondering how effective this weapon would be. For a while now, I've had a Railway Rifle pretty much identical to the "Ticket to Revenge" gathering dust in my stash box, except it has +1 Per instead of reduced weight. Good to see that it can be really effective against high level enemies.

the only automatic rifles that manages to do better than this thing is a quad explosive or quad limb damage railway rifle or a very specific set of rolls on an Elder's mark and even if you have one of those the overall damage difference isn't that substantial, i just wish that when we unlock quest reward or event weapons like this we also unlocked the skin on it so if we do have other weapons of the same type we can just put the skin on it.

I've been enjoying it myself. Its replaced my quad railway rifle most of the time. Sure, it could have a better effect than Furious but I don't play Bloodied so I'm not bothered by the "nerf".

Since Railways don't go silenced: any advice what perks not to miss on this coming from a full health stealth commando build and keeping it full health?

You should try a 50 crit lower vats cost Tesla Rifle on a rifleman build someday, the ap cost is lower in single fire mode and it easily crits over 1k. The durability, efficiency and damage are very satisfying. I can loan you a bloodied one for a while for the video (or you can keep it) since I mostly use quad and vampire versions of that same roll. Back to this weapon, I can't see how a 20 shot FFR rail could ever be bad even without furious :D

I recently switched over from a stealth rifleman build to a stealth commando build (for the damage output, unfortunately), I did this after acquiring the fixer. This railway rifle is the first I've used and it absolutely shreds, I continue to use my fixer for general use but anything tankier gets hit with this and they're down just as quickly. It has made expeditions and daily OPs a breeze.

I was super hyped for this as a bloodied double, I run a sneak commando build so I was looking forward to making more of a run & fun build, but now it's patched I've not even started the missions as I'd rather get the anchorage ace instead, also the crashing has been crazy since the update, used to be like one every few hours, now it's seems to be a lot more often and a lot more abrupt

Ticket to revenge is a great intro Railway rifle for new players to get before they get into rolling for quads, were the changes a disappointment for those of us who have been playing for years who saw a spicy free groll? Yeah sure but its better for the overall health of the game to put a good intro weapon for all of the meta builds in the new content like the zhweihander, bertha and anchorage ace. Also the reason they changed it is for the future ghoul builds, they cant run the bloody meta since rads effect them differently so this way its useful for both normal and ghoul characters unlike the bloody one would have been.

We don't think it's as bad as it sounds. However, why use furious if I have all best possible quad combinations? For the noobs.

I'd like to see beginner build ticket to revenge video.

Because you only want the ability to aim for parts of body and the other two levels will only give you like 2% hit chance on automatic weapon which is a waste for two points

There is really no poin, there are other useful perks in perception, for damage, for armor menetration, hipfire which helps in vats, grenades if you're into it

Also can aquire the new rwr through the new nuke boss!

Prople complaining this isn't as good as Q5015 or whatever your godroll is are missing the point. It shouldn't be. This game is all about loot. If you are guaranteed the absolute BiS there's no point chasing more loot. This is a fantastic example of a good quest reward. It is a very good weapon that gives players a starting point, abd let them grind for the absolute best.

I really appreciate your videos and the information you provide. However, as I watch, I see the build you're using and it works well...if you are level 9000. For low level builds, those of us who have not unlocked all those legendary perk cards...it's difficult to come close to the weapon performance you get with any weapon. As for the rifle, as a full health build, I love it.

All these new uniques are awesome. Changing up weapons in 76 is lot of fun. You don’t always have to be maxed out OP.

So I have an issue with the power house of the cell mission my game crashed right after I picked up the plant in the cave and now I don’t have a mission marker nor can I continue with the mission I can continue with Hugo’s mission set but not oberlins Mia set because of that

Maybe it's because I'm just now trying out railway rifles for the first time, but in my opinion this gun really wrecks! And its really fun!

I only started this kind of rifle for a Possum Badge challenge, and I made for not using this weapon There are several satisfying eliments, from damage to sound, and THIS weapon is now something I need to add to my collection. Thank you.

is it just me or does it seem like Energy Weapons break easier now with the new update?.... i have been having to repair my Gatling plasma like crazy.

I havent got it yet but it looks good. I still wish it was able to get rerolled. I wouldnt mind getting an armor penetration with maybe explosive or crit damage. I mostly just want the 20 shots. Having only 10 in the mag sucks sucks

The fact that the gun shoots insanely fast and has more rounds than my own RR and a skin just makes it more fun but not more damage. Still at the moment I’ve got my main RR put away and I’m having a blast with this one lol.

I just got the new Tesla Rifle today.its totally worth it but the way it eats up ammo really fast and low ammo are the disadvantages of it.Also as West Tek mentioned it the VATS is kinda short on this one 😅

Yeah. Pretty obvious why they changed it. Bloodied with 20 shots would be crazy powerful. This version is more balanced but also playing into what people love about the railway rifle. The Red Riot is also another surprisingly good gun. Furious with 150 rounds is pretty great. It's got a deep clip giving you the luxury of some of the other heavy guns but retains it's natural higher damage. I'm actually liking it over my Aristocrat exploding version. Not having to reload as often and faster reload feels real good. And it's easy to ramp up the effect. The gun went from a ammo hog to breaking even now on more normal occasions.

you should always use adrenal reaction even if not low health as it it counts 90% as low health and gives a higher buff the lower your health is so even on a full health you get more damage when your health gets lower

I'm still new to the game, how can you carry so many rail spikes? I get my inventory full with only a couple hundreds...

The Anchorage is a stealth weapon through and through, it's not for run and gun. It's the only silent gun in the game, not suppressed or silenced but actually hard coded in the game files as completely silent. Used from stealth with a calibrated receiver and perforating magazine it's a little more impressive than you showed. Not a boss killer, but perhaps a little better than you realise when used appropriately

I think a big reason they changed it was the complaints the market76 subreddit would’ve given it, but I still think it’s good as it is right now, I always switch between this one and my anti armor 50 critical damage railway rifle mainly because of the mag size

I want to love this weapon, but I got a B50c90 rail that I just like more until I get a good quad

I like using it. It's not as powerful as my bloodied roll but it's still fun to use.

The issue I’ve got with the Railway rifle and its variants will always be that it’s so hard to use without VATS… For some reason I really enjoy playing without using VATS too much and the recoil and steam let off means you can’t see or hit anything very quickly. Wish there was something you could do about it, cause I’m Kindoff limited to the handmade and fixer

Unfortunately, majority of the weapons work better with vats because of all the crit perks, legendaries, upgrades.

I like the railway rifle its just you have to reload a bit if your killing the boss and the ammo runs out fast and is super heavy

railway rifles are cool and i got the ticket to revenge pretty fast but on the same day I got it I god rolled a bloodied ffr gatling laser so I think ill stick with the fun guns

The Ace is indeed a nice gun for stealth commando. Ace for the grocery runs, Bertha for crowd control, and Ticket for the bosses. It's a great time to run a commando.

This weapon is great, but I think the 2H weapon is the best item... especially for full health builds. I was critting for 2700 with it as a full health tank build.

I rolled a few RR the other day and hit quad/ex/-90% weight, so I won't be using this. It's a great starter RR though, just because the rifle itself is crazy.

The legendary S.P.E.C.I.A.L perk cards add up to 5 points each to use. You are still limited to 15 usable under each one when using the regular cards in your build but you can play around with the allocation to get the most out of your specific build. Hope this helps.

I tried both this and my old Quad, and I like the quad better extra specifically only because I reload less.....

I had never played with a railway position because I knew it needed a quad, so I never got interested. I picked this one up and decided to test it just for fun, and my goodness, it's insane. Trying to get a Q25 or Q50 now.

Actually you don't need Quad. A Anti Armor explosive one hits like a truck and you can use it more as a rifle than an automatic. It will one shot most mobs. Amazing if you have gun-fu equipped. Insane damage numbers and better than an actual rifle built 😂

This might be a hot take but I'm kind of glad we didn't get a bloodied version of this. A God role of that magnitude just being a guaranteed drop from a quest is a bit much

The fire rate is faster with this gun to. Needless to say, my quad is hanging on a wall. 😂

Commando builds needs to be nerf period. It sucks trying to do events where most players are commando and you can't get kills cause dudes are just wiping out the enemy

As a non-blooded build this is by far my highest DPS weapon. My only issue is I'm tearing through ammo on it, so I find myself having to gather a lot of steel.

Goddamn rads keep messing up my low-health build. Insta-Died during the event Eviction Notice when the damn mutants blew up the thingy we were trying to protect. The sudden +74 Rads per second weren't so awesome. Can't eat food unless it's cooked because.... Rads! Can't let glowing creatures get too close because of... Rads! Look out for that barrel it's radiating... Rads! It's brutal and annoying to constantly have to readjust my health cuz of the damn Rads. ARGH!

For general running around a Quad 50 hit is the best variant, for boss killing a quad 50 crit is the best gun in the game. If you don't have those the Ticket to revenge is the next most powerful railway there is. (the 50 hit is best for running around as lets you vats headshot from a mile away one spike one kill, the 50C requires you to be much much closer) The problem with the bloodied you have now is you spend more time reloading than you do shooting. With faster reload perks and fast hands in luck you can make it feel a bit better though.

Quad best for general purpose, but I notice no one mentions Aristocrats with critical hit extra damage which I use a lot, just make sure you have over 25,000 caps for full 50% extra damage. Uses less ammo.

Some people will say the +25 faster fire rate but unless you are playing mostly on private servers there are issues with the server registering crits with the FFR guns. If you could only have one gun the quad 50crit and use sweetwater special blend to get your vats hit up is the top roll in the game. For 3rd star I go for breaks slower as the railway typically needs 1-2 repairs if you are soloing a boss with it. But faster reload is better for overall dps.

@@AlainSiscan I will use aristocrats on any other commando gun but with only 10 shots on the railway its a bit too much reloading for me. I do have an alt toon with pretty much every variant of Railway, God roll antiarmor, junkies, vamp explosive etc, and always end up back at the quad variants as I hate reloading. Now im collecting for the ghoul though and searching for a good 3rd star vats fills faster, knowing i scrapped soo many of those in the past.

V63 Bertha says otherwise and this weapon was neutered I don’t think I agree w you here there’s way better rolls you can get in just 3-5 rolls of a regular railway
