So the DPS is now in the 200-500k range but the boss dies just as quick as when we did 100k dps in full raid Heroic & mythic gear ? WoW really lost it...

That legendary locking you in place for 4 seconds doesn't seem like a lot until you can't move when certain death is looming over your head. lol I feel your pain man. I hardly ever use it on use effect in M+ for exactly that reason.
