This was NOT the Plan! - Australian Sheep Farm Vlog
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Welcome to our farm vlog on a beautifully foggy morning, where the mist slowly lifts to reveal the breathtaking landscape. Join us as we embark on a journey to check on our beloved sheep and get a glimpse of the crops.
Our day starts with the magic of a foggy morning that gradually gives way to the gentle warmth of the sun. We take you along as we wander through the mist, checking on our sheep. The tranquil atmosphere sets the stage for a peaceful and reflective start to the day.
As the fog dissipates, we turn our attention to our crops. In this vlog, we share insights into the growth and progress of our barley, oats, beans, and wheat. Back home, we focus on our youngest members - the lambs.
The day concludes with a practical task - cleaning the workshop. As rain falls, we take advantage of the opportunity to tidy up the workspace. It's a reminder of the flexibility and adaptability required in farm life, where chores must be tackled no matter the weather.
Join us on this serene journey through the foggy morning, crop fields, and lamb care, with a dash of practicality in workshop cleanup. Don't forget to hit that like button, leave a comment, and subscribe to our channel for more farm vlogs and insights into our agricultural lifestyle.

I personally think the beans are pretty cool! They’re faba beans. 😊 I’ll get footage of it when we do harvest it’s still a month or two off though .
All my relatives on the distaff side were farmers (Midwest, USA), but my grandfather 'escaped,' went to San Diego, California, and became a bookkeeper for the "Chuck Wagon" chain of smorgasbord restaurants (chuck wagon: the canvas-covered rolling kitchen/pantry for cattle drives). He actually did fine during the Depression, because he got work at the Tijuana, MEX racetrack as a bookkeeper! 😂 One of my great-granddads had the lastname Miller. And he raised grain for beer brewing...in fact, I think the US has a major league baseball team named the "Milwaukee Brewers." ☺ I enjoyed learning about the different crops. Thanks.🤗

here for all of it ! Your videos are always entertaining, Tara. I would like some up close on the crutching ( ? ) Last video I saw mentioning it only showed the gather and run into the barn. It left me feeling like it was an automated process, which I know it isn't ! But for some of us the entire process is interesting. I have dairy goats, and they don't require so much work. But I do think about having sheep so I watch a lot of videos.

I actually just film next week’s video yesterday, and I did show a close-up of the crutching! Most Sheep are easier to keep in than goats, but harder to look after! Lots of work if you don’t get shedders.
I love learning everything. Sheep don't do what they do on their own. Farms don't run themselves. We should be aware of where food comes from, how it gets there, and exactly how much farmers work hard for their money (life)!!
