The best and biggest stadium in the city by a country mile. All the biggest crowds the city has ever seen where there. Plus some of the most famous footballers in the World played on that award winning pitch. But what do we have in its place today? No civic blue plaque of recognition, no remembarance garden to those who ashes were scattered on the pitch. No respect shown. Except for a few losely named streets on the new housing estate. Shamefull.

my dad loved this and misses boothferry park he said it was his church!

Was a regular at Boothferry Park 70 to 72 then athletics took over, fond memories of that era. Still can remember the emegsnce of Stuart Pearson and scoring against Birmingham City on edge of the box. Now a regular at Cambridge United, interest rekindled with City's first Premier League promotion otion

What a place, wasn't the same after they pulled the north stand down but it still had a soul the new stadiums don't.

Dad went to his first game there in 1949 & took me in 1989..

I really miss the old football grounds, especially The Den. Good video though.

"Diarrhoea in The Whitewash Bucket"? - sounds like the new single from Girls Aloud. This....was....Boothferry...Park!...Yes it was - the real "theatre of dreams". Up The Tigers!
