I like that the dude on the left questioned the morals about the whole hunter vs monster situation, more specifically them turning what SHOULD be a "saving humanity" mission into more of a profitable scenario, because all this will eventually lead to a mini plot twist I think later on in this season. Also, bro made an amazing point that I don't remember the manhwa touching up on.

Big facts

Just for your info, when a gate is classified as a certain rank, it doesnt mean that all the monsters in it are of this rank (so just because a gate is C rank not all monsters in it are Crank monsters). A gate is classified based on the total amount of magic energy the monsters in it emenate (its been mentioned in the first couple of episodes). For example a really big amount of E rank monsters + a D rank boss could make a gate C rank. And a small amount of D rank monsters + a C rank boss could also make a gate C rank. The ants in the Crank dungeon obviously were not Crank monsters (they were probably low Dor E rank). But their huge numbers + the fact the the dungeon boss was a pretty strong Crank one, made the gate C rank

The intoxicating effects of alcohol no longer affect Jinwoo! He can drink a case of it and not get drunk. He could drink poison and not be affected as well.

Rumors are that this Saturday we are going to get a "Recap" otherwise known as a "Filler"! Episode 8 not coming until following Saturday, at the earliest, is what I'm hearing. I hope the rumor is unfounded, but not holding my breath!

in the solo novel jinho never really tried to blackmail jinwoo.. i don't know why they made it that way.. some missing scenes too.. like when jinho and jinwoo was exiting the dugeon after killing the 6 hunters jinwoo was intimidating jinho to not reveal his secret.. although jinwoo knew that he could not harm jinho he was just trying to see if jinho would try to out him.. as the strory progress in the anime some changes are made to make it more fast paced.. still really faithful to the novel and am happy with it...

Yo, you guys can watch the opening! It literally spoils nothing, only people who know the story will truly spot *some slight* shit out. But for your guys' case, it is completely safe to watch. edit: Also, some extra info about this episode! The Cerberus monster that Jinwoo fought is NOT an S rank monster. That boy was actually high B or low A, considering that Jinwoo fought the Spider boss (a C-rank monster) and it was Orange named, meaning they were around the same level. Cerberus was RED, so it was anything higher than that basically. Another thing is that Jinwoo truly BITCHED Cerberus in the manhwa LMAO. The anime made a good job at making the fight actually seem like a struggle, which gave a clearer reason why Jinwoo didn't go into the castle right after.

@@skyclubreacts I believe that the anime direction is still the same as the manhwa and light novel, since the anime is the combination of those two. The slight changes still tell the same story, but executed differently. You know how Jinwoo took the poison during the Cerberus fight? Well in the manhwa, he actually took it AFTER he figured out that he can’t get drunk. That must’ve been hours before he actually entered the Demon Castle Gate. He had the less damage taken buff on the entire fight, whereas in the anime, he took it as a last-ditch effort

First off: Jinwoo accepts Jinho’s offer in the LN and manhwa. He also sets a condition that Jinho must accept in order to meet his goal of getting his Guild Master License. Jinho had already told him back in the C rank dungeon that he would take Jinwoo’s secret to his grave, vowing never to tell a soul. Jinwoo’s perception allows him to know when someone is lying, and he believed Jinho’s words. He also regrets using Murderous Intent on Jinho to secure that oath. “ I didn’t want to have to threaten him, but it had to be done, and I know he will keep his word for sure.” Jinho never threatens to tell on Jinwoo and he STILL did not do so in this episode.

@@christopherthompson1381 agreed. I have no objection to them expanding on random characters, or giving a shortened situation more length. Like how they had Go Gunhee explaining about gates and how mana crystals are used as energy sources and the like, at the beginning of the anime. This was a necessary add on as the book takes its sweet time with this information. And I adore Go Gunhee, so it coming from him was really appreciated 🥰 I also didn’t like how they made Cha Haein seem like a noob who wasn’t confident in her S rank skills 😒 She had been an S rank and working as a Hunter for the Hunter’s Guild AS VICE PRESIDENT for 2 whole years! Jinwoo working as an E rank for 4 years.

Yo appreciate the the knowledge on the missing/changed source material that was great to know! As far as Jinho goes in that particular perspective we had we definitely don’t hate him or think he’s a “bad guy” we were just disappointed on what we thought in that moment of time was “blackmail” which we thought he did out of desperation. But from what you’ve given we definitely have a perspective shift. We try to look at these characters actions in these shows as realistically as possible and definitely wouldn’t just one dimensionally go “Oh you oppose MC? Youre EVIL!” Nah we definitely don’t think like that. I know I myself was passionate about the situation and it could of came off that way (especially with the edit cuts) but we don’t think bros a bad guy at all. 😂 how could we when he tried his best to protect Jinwoo in the dungeon. Also as far as the “Elixr” we mentioned the other parts just don’t know if it got edited out or not or if it’s in our uncut version. But overall appreciate you for giving us some Solo Leveling schooling, just wanted to let you know what was behind the scenes.

There was no blackmail intended when he said that. Again A-1 changed how this all went down, so they can be blamed for your initial thought of Jinho’s words. Luv you three. You forgot Solo was all just sauce they are mixing the LN and the Manhwa together with some changes to make it a good story since Solo really didn't have a much story to it but just straight heat sauce of PEAK action goodness

Cerberus is ranked A, not S, jin woo is currently ranked B and jin woo sees cerberus' name in red, indicating that cerberus is stronger than him. The S rank demon castle key indicates the difficulty level of the demon castle is floors 1-100 so the cerberus is just the guard of the entrance to the demon tower, after defeating the cerberus, jin woo got the key to enter the demon tower and then there starting from the 1st floor.
