I wouldn't give a damn about the laws against drones. If there's a real danger to exploring our public lands I'd send up the drone for just long enough to recon the site before putting myself or others in harm's way. It would only take a minute or two and it wouldn't have to fly very high. A fine is preferable to a cartel bullet to the head. They make drones nowadays that fold up and fit in your pocket and FAA rules don't apply if it's under a certain size because they are considered toys when that small.

When I was just a teenager back in the mid - late 70's, I met an elderly man who had moved into one of the two efficiency apartments that were owned by my best friends father, we would sit and talk to this man & run errands to the store and post office for him, he told us stories about his past life working in Las Vegas, some of the stories he told us were about time he had spent in the Desert & traveling back and forth from Los Angeles to Vegas, he was always a little vague about what he actually did for a living, but we didn't think too much about it at the time because we knew he didn't know anyone else in town and he didn't drive or own a car, but he always seemed to have plenty of money, after he passed away in the mid 80's there wasn't a funeral service or burial, all we were told was that his body had been shipped up north where his remaining family lived, it took several years for me to find out his whole story........

It's a pretty standard "desert abandoned cabin", really. People exploring out there (off roading, back packing) will often stay the night in them. The etiquette is while you're there you do a little clean-up, maybe some simple repairs, and leave things like canned food, paper towels, and so forth behind for others who may need or use it. The drug dealers are long, long gone.

Those cabins looked really nice, looks like they were part of a mining community a long time ago. I liked all of the little homily touches the original owners had done, like the rocks and stones placed to make pathways between the cabins and the rugs. Shame those drug Cartels took them over, so sad. Such an interesting video.

Enjoying your video. Nice cabins. Great explore and take it from the safe side.
Hello again from rural New Hampshire. That looks like a volunteer cabin. The BLM and N.Parks allows people to maintain them for people to short term camp. Love following your adventures. Peace and be safe.
Awesome video! I enjoy knowing the background of the places you explore! Thank you for all you do to entertain us!

The name Heisenberg comes to my mind, awesome video my friend, keep up the good work, you have inspired me.
Videos like this make me not want to pursue my dream of backpacking through the states >> I'll just stay where i'm at and vacation vicariously through folks like yourself. Thanks!
Wow, nothing screams "Drugs were made here" to me at that place. I would have just assumed it was a mining camp or something of the sort.

Once upon a time it was a mining cabin. The Mojave desert is littered with them
Another awsome video EWU team, keep up the great work and awsome videos, takecare and always stay safe out there
Really interesting story, Boss. I hate methamphetamine with a passion; It causes so much grief to the families and (former) friends of the addicts. The cabins are still in pretty good shape for how long they’ve been there. Thanks for another great video. Stay safe out there! 💕
I'd so love to live where you guys do. Having the freedom to explore vast expansive deserts in gorgeous hot weather. I'm stuck in poxy small Ireland with frig all to see and you're guaranteed to get rained on wherever ye go here :(
Do the Manson caves.
Wow! Those cabins are in a lot better shape than most of the places you explore. Cool rocks!
Highlight of my weekend, watching these videos! 👍🏻

These look like one of many volunteer cabins that are scattered throughout the west. Likely why it is still in good condition.
Thank you for another fine video and investigation. Ody Slim

I'm sharing your channel....This is really cool.... You will make a million subscriber soon....
*When you said " Look guys we have a cellar," I jumped thinking a dealer had just popped up around the corner. I'm always watching for the unexpected, and getting ready to yell at my screen. Yea, I know, it would already be edited and uploaded, but the fact still remains, I still get jumpy.* _I may always be late to the party, but I always show...fashionably late...maybe just working hard. Love your vids, and can't wait for the merch._
Great work and great place 👍👍👍👍
Hey There. Love your videos. I really would like to see longer videos though. You're one of my favorite subscriptions alongside the great Moe Sargi and Omar Gosh. I really liked your longer multipart videos but just a longer video like 20-30 min. I would watch every bit of it. Please consider this.

They've done them in the past and they were awesome! I truly wish you guys would do them again, even if two separate explorations in one (I know you need to have enough content to make them longer, *obviously*, lol). I also wish Team EWU would zoom in on the *"old"* antique tools and furniture...their history is cool to look at too, heck even 70 + year old timesheets are cool. Lol! THANKS FOR THE BALLS TO BRING THESE VIDS TO US (YOU TOO EMMA, YOUR BALLS ARE JUST PROVERBIAL! 😎) PS. Once again, behind every great dude...is an even greater dudette! 😉
EWU this was an awesome vid! Loved that it had a background story. Keep it up. Xoxo
Great video & story on it. I tell myself you are all smart and carry when you go to these deserted places, because I worry about your safety. It's Momma Radar I suppose. 😊 Enjoyed as always! Have a great weekend & stay safe!
I would love to do this on my down time thanks for sharing 👍👍

Nice clean cabins. Great video. 💖it. Ty
Those cabins looked really nice, looks like they were part of a mining community a long time ago. I liked all of the little homily touches the original owners had done, like the rocks and stones placed to make pathways between the cabins and the rugs. Shame those drug Cartels took them over, so sad. Such an interesting video.
Love your videos you always give a good feedback on things, can't wait for the next video, take care of yourselves
Cool cabin. Fixed up pretty nice at one time. Keep them coming!!!
Really good & interesting.. keep it up.. & be safe..
