Kinda expected, not to be rude but hes a really toxic guy whos done a lot of shady shit and its not surprising he got banned... Though this is coming from someone who doesn't like him over block game beef lo.

banning someone because vetex cant handle fixing a huge bug for an update is insane. i really dont like the bug abusers but they dont deserve to be banned, its just using content thats available to you. what should be happening is vetex making that op content unavailable instead of leaving it there and getting mad when people use it. and exploded is fodder and just bans anyone he cant beat with minimal evidence because vetex doesnt care about anything that matters

Dude, getting banned for a certain combination between Weapon, Enchant and Magic is some of the most batshit insane tomfoolery I've veer heard. This can be anyone in the game, that person could not be able to control their build unless there' off the game. Getting one of them scrolls is something too and weapons. Imagining the hours of time wasted playing at that point, imagine. X amount of hours wasted just to get banned for a rule that was not mentioned outside of the Fandom/Discord. Damn, just damn.

It was very well-put by a moderator that while this argument CAN be made, it'd be as accurate as "accidentally typing in a cheatcode while playing a game". Using this bug for leaderboard with these specific bugged weapons and imbues would be typing in that cheatcode, while yes it's possible to accidentally abuse the bug, it's VERY unlikely that you accidentally enter a cheatcode while playing a game, ESPECIALLY when doing leaderboard.

​@@JoshBloxx. I agree somewhat. There are many reasons this should not be bannable regardless if whether or not a player understands that whay they are doing is using a bug. 1. How would they know it's a bug? If 90% of the playerbase isn't toxic pvpers then you can't ban ppl for it. Is it ok for people to abuse if they don't know? How do you prove that they knew or that they didn't? Stupid shit man🤦‍♂️ 2. If a bug is any unintended occurrence game, and bug abuse is the intentional use if these bugs to gain an advantage in gameplay? Why are some bugs ok and others not? Like luck parties. But then when it is pvp it is a problem 🤔 and the game isn't combat focused, I don't pvp much and I am certainly not pushing for the game to be combat focused, but make it make sense my nigga. Pvp doesn't matter if you have to spend energy on fixing bugs, but when you're bro gets his ass kicked in pvp due to the same bugs the dev ain't focused on fixing, then pvp matters? All of that aside, the one thing I will nitpick from you're video is this. I know you said you're not trying to defend your Kromolaux, but throughout he middle it definitely sounded like that, it sounded like you were saying he got banned because he complained about flame emperor getting banned, then towards the end your just like " He got banned for exploits", at which point my mind switched from the perspective of " Moderation is bullshit, this is so unjust" to " Ok, moderation still isn't good, but of course bro got banned for exploiting"

The statement 'Find evidence that the banned individual didn't know it was bugged' is problematic because it’s inherently difficult to prove a lack of knowledge. If someone doesn't know something is wrong, they wouldn’t have mentioned it beforehand. Any claim after the fact could easily be interpreted as a lie. Terrible system.

2 things, 1. A mod i won't name told me that hotfixes like inverse speed bug has already been fixed as part of empires update, so to say vetex cant pump out hotfixes would be wrong, him doing hotfixes weekly or bi weekly will just hinder faster updates. Though, for the game's balance and overall enjoyability these things would be better fixed bi weekly that i agree 2. Khromalux got banned for exploiting, regardless of whether a mod had a hand in speeding up the process it doesnt really matter. extra note: i get that people would know about a bugged feature that can be bug abuse, but personally if ur crutched on that bug wompwomp im biased as hell aoe monkeys.... 🤪🤪🤪

I respect Vetex for being a solo dev. That takes some time. Even though this isn't related to the video at all, I figured I'd share my thoughts. Now, I respect him as a solo dev, but he has NO ESCUSE for not hiring a team. I understand he wants to be in control of everything, but this is being paranoid. While I know people can't be trusted, you can at least have them work on certain stuff, such as more dark sea addons, they don't have to be added to the game to develop there, make separate places for them to work on. And yes, I'm am a developer, I know how tedious it can be. But if you have these developers under strict conditions, the game will be absolutely fine. Heck, he could even save a spare place of the game if he suspects anything. I'm not in control of vetex, and I never will be. But my advice to him..Get yourself a team. I know you have Galga (and someone else I forgot) But you can at least have them work on more stuff than clothes and skillsets. While this does get stuff done, it doesn't get major stuff done. He could probably work with the owner of Arcane Reborn, who obviously understands how to make a game like Arcane Odyssey. If you aren't going to hire anyone else, please let your other developers work on bigger and grander things. If you want, get to know them better, form a friendship. This will create trust between you and them. Thanks if anybody read this, these are just my opinions, yours may vary, but that's all I have in mind.

This started during the time of the game's release, when exploiters started appearing, vetex implemented a horrible anti-exploit system that ended up banning thousands of innocent players. Players who did not have evidence of being innocent were never given a ban appeal. After that came a period of banning players who were abusing bugs, leveling too quickly, or doing things that vetex simply didn't like that wasn't exploiting. One example was by farming NPCs through walls, which was a bannable offense. Players who did not have access to the discord simply did not know about this and end up being punished when they get caught, because players were not informed by the game in any means. Overall, when the game still had a large playercount, vetex made a series a bad decisions which ended up causing a lot of players to leave.

It’s an weapon enchant that a lot of people use because it’s really good, if you don’t want people bug abusing then fix the bug or maybe get testers to do there job? They can switch magics in the test server they clearly didn’t test enough.

Okay, so being banned for a game bug, that's the fault of the game developer is absolutely crazy. i know for sure that almost every other game when there's a bug that can be replicated easily by the common majority, it's the fault of the developer, and players shouldn't get banned. so seeing what happened with him is extremely wild.

People are saying that getting banned bc of abusing bugs is ridiculous,but hear me out: Firstly,the game description has CLEARLY STATED that you might be banned if you exploit either by using bugs or hacks.its normal to get banned for abusing bugs. Second,if you’re gonna use”many ppl do that”as an excuse,well you better ask why those players of decaying winter don’t fucking complain when they get banned bc of duping(also a commonly used bug).yes sure some of them complain,but not a lot,I rarely see one complaining like”why did I get banned bc I duped???” the reason is obvious!this is not a high player count but low quality game like blox fruits which lets people exploit because”it’s fun”and also is because they want the kids to pay up,this is a good quality game with no much players and therefore rules are easier and also will be further reinforced. If ur too lazy to read all those shit I wrote up there,here’s a conclusion:stop complaining when the game is reinforcing the rules,just don’t play it if you don’t like how it works.

Like ngl bro seeing the guy say that you should just "not use that file" is absurd bro. I play warrior and like ALL of my weapons are dense, some are ardent but it's mostly dense. So like lets say instead of warrior I have a slow magic conjurer slot as my main and I have gear that I have NO spares of at all. So basically this guy is asking for me to go on another slot, spend my time transferring my gear and then play on that slot and NEVER touch my main slot for pvp until this is fixed. Alternatively you can also interpret it as the guy asking you to sit and grind for those weapons again and put a different enchant on them. Wow. Genius. What type of suggestion is that bro??!!

yapping yapping from my part the main reason this was an unfair ban imo is that it isnt really a bug abuse because it's literally coded into the game, when it comes to "bug abusing" it's a deliberate choice to exploit a loophole from the game's coding or scripts to bring an unfair advantage, but like you've said, this is a bug that just cannot be controlled, it's literally either use dense and carry the cross of the inverse speed bug or just not use dense at all and handicap yourself from endgame builds what i mean by this is, the bug is literally "hard coded" into the game, not deliberately, but it's quite literally just always there, it's not like you have to do a specific proccess to activate or use the bug, just by having a weapon with the dense enchantment makes the bug work, which is such an awful bug that should have been patched immediatelly, but vetex just like any other devs in general, are too stubborn to somehow do (like you suggested) bug hotfixes and patches that exclusively treat glitches and bugs, most of devs for some reason insist of having to make meaningful progress and build more into the game instead of dedicating the time to fix already existing issues

The point of the admin is so stupid, hes being punished by using a bugged game mechanic. Even if it is bugged, it's a game mechanic. You can not bar people from using game mechanics and then ban them if they don't listen.

tbh I feel like the arcane odyssey community in general isn’t in a very good place rn. most of the staff don’t really do anything cause most of them are just vetex’s friends, and this is sorta vetex’s fault for hiring people who probably don’t have any experience just because he’s close to them. there is also the fact that new players probably won’t even know what the rules are because of how vague everything is. I honestly I don’t see how the community would ever grow with how things are going.

Either way people are going to complain and complain no matter what the mods or vetex does, its impossible to make everyone happy. Also I think that the mods are going by the logic "ignorance to the law is no excuse" and also the fact that the person they banned WAS apart of the community and most likely knew about this because he was in the discord etc. Still him gettinv banned is bs. Do they expect us to spend money and resources just to remove an enchant, add a different enchant, and then unenchant again when the hotfix is out to re enchant it again with dense or whatever? Like your litteraly banning people for not wasting resources. The playerbase should not conform to bugs, thats the developers job. It is bs, but what do you expect for a roblox game? It is not like these guys are professionals at their jobs.

It’s all good I’ve learnt my lesson and I’ll try to avoid these bugs in the future. I’ve switched my weapons and had to remove dense on them but it doesn’t affect my play style too much, I’ve still got my lb spot secured 🫡

I...I'm at a loss for words. Just kidding. Here's a little rant: I know it's not my place to say this, and I know that this isn't likely to make a difference, but here's my take. This bug, according to my understanding (which technically isn't very reliable, but we'll ignore that) wasn't made known properly to the community. People like flameember should not be held accountable for an issue in development and an oversight from whoever's in charge of posting bugs on the vetcord or whatever it's called. We should not be suffering the consequences of the dev's mistake and the mod/tester team's oversights. I respect vetex, and I understand he has a life too. Being a solo dev probably isn't easy, and he has other priorities, but this whole situation is just absurd and unjust. If you haven't noticed, a lot of new content from AO youtubers revolves around the issues and problems AO has. It's obvious that something needs to be done, or this downward trend *will* continue. Also, major respect to JoshBloxx for making this video and shedding some more light on the issues of AO's mod/tester team (wait who's supposed to handle this whole bug thing bc technically the testers should be testing it but the mods are the one banning ppl...is that how it works or am I just dumb lol) Can't believe you actually read this whole thing ngl P.S. If you don't agree with me, that's fine. You're not going to hurt my feelings. Just don't turn the reply section into a warzone. I don't want a tsunami of notifications.
