The Kisaragi's creepypasta is a metaphor to ''passing away''. I don't remember where I did read it, but the train Hasumi took is a train leading to the after-life, the sleeping passengers are people who died, and there's a theory that Hasumi died in a train accident without realizing it. There's another theory where Kisaragi Station is actually the beginning of hell, and this is where Hasumi ends up after dying. The beating drums are spirits/demons (I'm not really sure for this one) announcing her death and forcing her to go back to Kisaragi> so hell. I was really fascinated by this creepypasta back then and did a lot of researches on it, but this is what I ended up finding and this was the creepypasta's original author's intentions apparently. If you guys know something else or if I'm mistaken please tell me!

or they're just a ghost? well, in my country this kind of accident really happen tho, only few chosen or unlucky one will witness this creepiness, and im the one of them, but its usually a bus not a train, here's the story, i write it as dedicated as i can, based what really happen on my experience few years ago, me who's a hard labour is going to go home, I'm working across the city, one of few ways is going by bus cs its cheaper than other transportation unlucky for me the way home is near a mountain that known for its story, many accident happen there, the police and all says its because of nature and unawarness of drivers, i know but local believe its the spirit that seeks for sacrificial, some elder already warn me to not go home that night but i insist, i miss his family and all i still remember exactly what time it is, 11pm almost midnight i got into a bus from bus station, eventually i realized everyone is just pale white skin like a real dead and sleeping, some may wake up but no one is talking, i try to take it easy and take a sleep, suddenly i woke up and in a blink of an eye everything is just red & blood, the bus turns into rusty one and no longer moving, i ran out follow the pathway and there's no car or house, its a real deal forest of Mountain that locals talk about, i regret all for not listen to the elders advice, i witness many scary thing that i can explain, last thing i can remember is when i see woman in distance im happy but as soon as i get closer, the girl had a hole in her belly, a broken face with no eyes, until i lost consciousness in the morning, i founded by locals looking for woods, i told my stories and they look surprised, one of them said "lucky for you sir, "they" didn't take you into their world, take a rest", that's my experience that I'll never forget believe it or not, its really happen, "those" thing? "their" world? its exist, they exist

May be Hasumi ended up in Kisarazu station, not Kisaragi station. Routewise, it does make sense because you can take Tokaido Main Line to Tokyo and ride the train that does direct service onto Sobu and Uchibo line.

When you mentioned inanuki, I was terrified. As a horror fan I know about this story where in order to go in this inanuki village you have to go through the tunnel. And the people in inanuki village are legit crazy, they kill people who enter this village. I'm not even sure that are these people humans or ghosts. And I think it might be hasumi read isanuki tunnel wrong or misspelled it while texting cuz there is this possibility that she actually entered inunaki tunnel. Also the man who gave her lift might be a villager who took her back to the village. MORE P.S.- it's also said that the people in the village are into some cult or they are satanists. So basically to worship satan you offer souls or a human body- I mean we don't know what might have happened but \_(-_-)_/

There's also rumours that it was to separate her personal life from her singing career. In a sense, she is working if she's covering her face and you could come up to her and ask for signature or picture together at that moment. But if she's not dressing up as the singer Sia with the wig and stuff, means that she's not working and she prefers to be left alone. That sounds plausible to me though.

It’s both. Back in the day, she was a well known Indietronica artist and a critical darling in Australia’s alternative music charts. She performed live without any costumes or gimmicks and it was no secret what she looked like. Then later she wrote music for the likes of Rihanna and David Guetta and started to get more mainstream in America. Because she’s older and isn’t as conventionally attractive as a lot of other female pop artists, (she also suffers from Grave’s disease) she got a lot of shit for it, so that’s why she began to cover her face in her mainstream career.

The singer she used for the kisaragi station is flower and Hatsune Miku, although she usually uses either flower or Miku for her Vocaloid covers. The no title and channel has some speculation as to what it could mean, some people say it is to create a mysterious atmosphere for her songs, and some say that its a reference to feeling lost. You can't search for something you can't find, you just wander across it randomly, thus why the "cult" exists, as people make jokes about being "chosen" to listen to these songs.

The Japanese call this so-called "cult" like this: 界隈曲 The person who started all this musical stuff was the guy by the nick of koronba...(don't mention him btw) So he made a lot of cool songs. Utau, pixel art, dark things, experiments, jazz, IDM....soon he left. You may google why... After k****ba left, the people started making so-called "neighborhood songs" out of respect to his music and stuff... His style is unique and a lot of Japanese members of this fan-community make such songs with his style... x0o0x_ has his own style based on the k****ba's... It's all strange but to beatiful. Art is really amazing thing. Religion and progress along with the arts (fine arts especially)... it's all amazing and interesting

11:36 , about the tunnel, the name isn't Inanuki but Inunaki, and it has very different kanji than Isanuki. Inunaki（犬鳴）and Isanuki（伊佐貫）look absolutely different. I read the chatlog, and Hasumi used the kanji rather than writing in Hiragana, which makes the possibility of Hasumi making a typo, or referring to Inunaki pretty low.

I know its been years, but I did abit of my own research for a video I wanted to make on this topic, and was watching this video to see if I missed anything, and so I thought I would go ahead and share my findings here for any who would like to hear it. So, I found out that Kisuragi is the old name for February, or the Second Lunar Month, in Japanese, and knowing Japan has alot of celebrations, I looked at up and while there are alot of celebrations in February, the most notable for this case was the Tsuinae Ceremony, during which there are ringing bells, beating drums, and people dancing around just like "Hasumi" describes happening at the station. On top of that, the purpose behind the Tsuinae Ceremony is to drive away evil spirits and bring good fortune for the new year. On top of all of this, from what I can find, it seems Hasumi is a relatively generic name aside from this creepypasta. So, it seems that, if not from the visual novel, it could have also been inspired by the Tsuinae Ceremony in Kisuragi, or February. As the Tsuinae Ceremony takes place on February 2nd or 3rd. While I know the post takes place in January of 2004, i emphasize the February dates as Kisaragi is literally February, at least in my research.

I read a Chinese web novel that "world hops", and the mc ended up at a world called Kisaragi station. Super creepy world where everyone's dead and it has an insane plot twist, too. Kinda cool to hear where it got inspiration from.

This is gonna be hard to believe but I was born on January 8th 2004 (soon to be 19) and I used to have a recurring dream that I was a girl running through a tunnel, too scared to turn around and one day the dream started with me (like actually me) on a train that didn't stop anywhere. I haven't had either of those dreams again and had completely forgotten about it until I found this video. I had listened to this song a few times after I got recommended it (along with everyone else it seems) but hadn't known it's meaning, nor had I heard of kisaragi station before this so this is all starting to feel like a crazy coincidence. I will update this if I have the dream again but that seems unlikely
