There was already a video done on this material. It’s too dark for low light environments and sticks out. You would need complete darkness and even then inferred captures the surrounding environments as lighter than this material so it’s not an optional camouflage

@@jefez75 you're right because of all that vantablack on the lights the license plates the mirrors the windows, pretty much all the things on a car other than body panels that reflect light will now be unable to reflect light because the body panels were painted that color. As far as without enough lights any car is hard to see in the dark without enough lights. I had a white Dodge Charger in my garage but with the lights out for all I know it could have been a black workbench or a green ladder.

Pros- you dark AF and looks kinda kewl.. Cons- you are a target on the road since it’s so hard to see you especially during bad weather, the car would be impossible to keep clean, and with it being such a true black in color you are guaranteed to come back to a 120F car every time you get in it in summer.. Conclusion- worth it 💀

Driving down the highway and you just see a set of lights fly by at 140mph, but there's no car.... DUN DUN DUNNN

As much as it all sounds awesome, especially in day light, my issue would be at night time. If it is that dark and black, (absorbing all the light), then surely you are much more likely to get hit at night time, especially side-on (t-boned)

@@paradisepools6223 it is how it works lmfao. If something absorbs 99% of photons it will convert that extra energy to heat, compared to a silver car that probably reflects 75% of photons instead of absorbs so it wouldn't get anywhere as near as hot as a car made from vanta black

i can imagine the insurance calls. "What did you hit" - a bmw x6 "How'd it happen" - I literally couldn't see it, it's vantablack

Broo. The room is not dimly lit at all. It's just the grey walls and beam lighting making you think that. It's very very bright and soft lighting. You can see the hosts skin tone. Another example is Unbox Therapy videos. Many guests on the show have said it's very bright
