In our job it's a very rare occasion that we got offered such a lovely automobile that it can only be described to anyone else that asks as brand new.........Now yes, we hear that alot in the motor trade.......and it's a very VERY rare occasion that any used car meets this condition 😩😩🙄🙄 but this Amarok we got offered is unreal......but it still had me worried!!!
As always thanks for the support of the channel everyone, Claire and me did an auction challenge today and it was great fun.

Scuttle drains are quite a common area that get overlooked. Even worse when they fill up and overflow into the cabin and get into the electrics. Still hoping for a video on that gorgeous looking V70 R Design ... Hope you're all well.
I can think of better places to go to than Crawley, i know, i lived there for 20yrs.

Made me smile how worried you looked. So many cars/vans have these drain issues as you experienced on the 5 Series BMW. Simple fix by comparison to the BMW. Keep on doing what you both do.

Hi Kev & Claire. Glad the VW is ok 😃 at first I thought it was aircon but it was to far back lol. Hope you are enjoying the sunshine for a change you should ask Dad to plant a few flower beds around the forecourt to brighten the place up. It was all fine Fred, I obviously flushed that grime into the grommet during my 4 spray bottle all purpose cleaner jet washing session 🤓🤓🤓🤓
As a customer i appreciate an engine bay being left in its natural state for veiwing. Then when i pay for the car a full under bonnet clean is quality customer service👍
BRAND NEW! its a ten year old motor.

I have a drain on my old ‘91 Jeep YJ that has a twist off cap at the bottom - so it actually holds water until you’ve opened the tap (which I have now removed). Goes looking truck btw - they don’t sell those here so I’ve never seen one before
The taste test Kev 😊 We had an old guy we delivered to years ago, I was chatting to him and somehow got onto talking about antifreeze. I said I needed to check the transit for antifreeze he just dipped his finger in and tasted it 😂 yup there's antifreeze in that....

I had a customer view a car and he wiped the dipstick with his finger then lick it, tastes of carbon he says ! The only guy to do that in twenty odd years in the job lol.

Hi kev,i knew that wasn't aircon and was a blocked gully as my skoda does it aswell,ive gotta say im not liking the Engine not having a plastic cover over all those pipes etc as looks ugly without it I'm surprised tbh,good it was simple for you🤣👍

Hey Mark, its an odd one ref the engine cover isn't it 🥴Seems to be a commercial thing with the 2.0L.....the 3.0V^ has a lovely cover on it 🤪🤪🤷♂️I even thought about seeing if one was available but the truck sold so quick I figured I was being super fussy 🤷♂️👍👍👍

@VisionPrestigeCars it wasn't a negative thing towards you m8 I just thought it looked ugly without a cover especially as what a lovely truck it is but good you've sold it quickly and nothing wrong with being fussy as that's what people will come to buy from you and come back again and again 👍

@@DaleSteel Nah mate the Amarok of this age is different, drives like a car, way less commercial feeling than any other double cab truck, the brand new Amarok however is the same as a new Ranger 😩😩😩😩😩

Scuttle drains are forever getting blocked it cost me hundred ££ on my Corsa D because the ECU is in the scuttle, nearly had the same happen on a Rover 75 I had . If I was you check where your main ECU is located

Commercials have different noise emissions levels to passenger vehicles so often manufacturers don’t fit them, my VW Transporter doesn’t have one !

Typical salesman…..it’s Brand New mate….but every thing on the car is ten years old…it’s rusty underneath and the bulk head is full of water….as you can see it’s not a well serviced vehicle….better pick ups are available…..😂😂 👍

"It's not a well serviced vehicle".....what the hell!!...Because a "non serviceable" (if you know what that even means 🙄) sludge drain has built up over years and ive pushed the sludge down with the jet wash and blocked it............Go find me another commercial 10 year old vehicle thats even 10% of this one.....even 5% 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄" You know what....I never bite on comments but people like you are clearly the problem with why selling cars is and trying to do the job right is so damn hard.........Better pick ups available.....yeah Righto!!!!!!!!
