@The Sacrosanct they are not in the same league… the Acura MDX is in the same class as a Mercedes SUV… they are only luxury. They are basically luxury cars in the form of SUV. The Toyota FJ is a full utilitarian SUV. You can take the Toyota in the worst road with big rocks and holes and will handle without issue. You take that Acura on these roads and will get stuck.

I own a 2007 FJ Cruiser with 261,000 miles still running strong. Secret use 1 quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in every oil change! cheers from California!

Ive got a 2007 as well. 135,000ish miles. In fact, if you rip the snorkel off this rc model, swap out the bumpers with ARB, add moto metal wheels and you'd be looking at my truck.

I have a 2008 Trail Team and I love it.

I own that exact color Toyota FJ Cruiser & my husband owns a silver TOYOTA FJ Cruiser. I love that model one. It looks very realistic. Even has the 3 wiper blades on the windshield.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 The Toyota FJ Cruiser continues to go up in value. They are so fun to drive. The back doors open suicide style. The back seats can also fold down for a larger cargo area. The interior is waterproof. Rubber lining in the back cargo, all the floor mats. Mine is an automatic and my husband's is standard transmission.

Very nice it’s amazing how real they look on film driving around the yard and going over obstacles. I watch a KZread channel ( Fab Rats ) He found 3 FJ’s and is now in process of building one into a serious rock crawler. Thanks Captain

I have a 2007 FJ. It’s a great vehicle. I don’t do much (well any) off roading, but it drives well. The gripe is mine had a defective rear diff and some of the teeth broke off. It has since been addressed and the windshield easily gets cracked due to its angle.

Fun to drive these but expensive as you say. I love my Ram ecodiesel for the sheer brute power, I pulled a snowplow out of snowbank last year (I'm in Ottawa)! In Australia this would be called a Ute as you probably know. I recommended your recent bike ride to my friend who is a retired police detective and bike aficionado in Australia. I thought you'd be interested in his reply: "I watched your recommended video of Captain Drone. I liked his style of presentation, and his motorcycle and was fascinated by his flyover of the amazon building. I wonder what the Amazon people think of having him overfly their building. I have recommended Captain Drone to a friend of mine, and I have Bookmarked him (or Favorited him) depending what sort of browser you use."

Interesting video Steve! The car looks nice and superb... RC is good too but honestly, the battery is not that powerful (only 380 mAh) than also 30 mins battery life is good! Anyways, great review!
