Hey Vinnie how are ya? That was me that mentioned the half crab in the minnow trap thing. On these really hot days look for moving water in deeper canals or such. They will sometimes be in those smaller ditches but it’ll be early in the morning or late in the evening into the night. Just like any other fish they like cooler water during the hottest part of the day. If you can easily find a canal when the water is moving with the tide you should do really good with that.

Looks like that bridge offers you a smorgous board of seafood. Vinnie, tell you the best pain reliever for a catfish sting......carry a cigar with you, when you get stung, wet a small pinch of tobacco, wet it, and place it on the sting. Will stop the stinging almost immediately. Worked for us every time.

Your channel is my favorite outdoor/ fishing channel Vinnie. You and Outside the Levees have awesome content for the common man. Plus you’re a firefighter like me so that means something lol. I’m in coastal Alabama but I’ve been to Venice trout fishing a couple times years back with my dad. I plan on coming that way and staying several days and seeing if I can catch those shrimp and crabs like you lol. I can hear so hopefully it’s similar lol. Ever seen a jubilee on Mobile Bay? Can you tell us more about the gear you use (boat, rod and reels, etc)? Thanks and keep it up !
