Glad y'all are still doing videos here and there, I know on the website you guys said it wasn't a primary focus but it's always a joy.

The German/Australian Goggomobile Dart was also a sports microcar, it had a rear mounted 500cc 2 stroke twin.
Man, you can totally soup that up with almost anything. Different engine, port job and expansion chambers, BMW engine and drive train. OMG right lol,
DT has gone full California/Hollywood.
I love the Berkley! What an amazing little car. Great video Torch!
That was really enjoyable thanks guys!
Excellent! This is the kind of motor journalism we need more of. Thanks.
The David Tracy gag lmfao
That burger looks good! 😁
I love these micro or mini cars, they are super cool!!! Great video! Edit: Love how much it moves when you push on it when parked...so light!!!
Great video! I do like a good, earthy Aussie-style insult, too - “dickhead”! Hilarious!
The gag with David Tracy at the end had me laughing out loud. Great video!
We had three Honda 600s, two N600 Sedans and one Z600 coupe. They may not have been micro cars but they were a lot of fun to drive, especially that I could get in one at 6' 5" and heavy. As I remember, they could go 75 - 80 if the road was flat (or down hill).

Those 600s were great. I nearly bought one many years ago but being just over 6 feet tall buggered that right up.
I love this kind of thing. It's my old GT86 in spirit. Light and great fun without too much power. Just enough to make driving twisty road a lot of fun.
Spaghetti colander hubcaps? This car was made for David Tracy!
I remember riding in a friend's MGB GT and having that same sensation of "wheel lugnuts at eye level". Sobering indeed.
The HUG! LOVE Torch!
My dad's buddy owned TWO Berkley roadsters.
now that deserves the 2cv engine upgrade...lol
Not much difference in size, than the earlier Crosley Hotshot, and Sport, which were raced, and had 4 cylinders and an overhead cam. The Crosley engine was used in a lot of specials, in the fifties, would make a Berkely scream! 😊
I would go so far as to say that this is the '50s British equivalent of the AZ-1/Beat/Cappuccino sports keis. I saw a sky-blue one at Caffeine & Machine recently and I _think_ the guy said it had 2CV suspension parts (how much of it is 2CV I don't know).
Weird that you can't run it out of gas when that's common practice on 2 stroke outboards.
I think the opening is based on true events "Torch, I have this odd mirco-car for you too...oh there you are" Torch winded after reenacting Forrest Gump on 1-40. David being a dink was a good cameo. Or is that based on true events as well?
Nicely done! Someone should resurrect the Berkeley brand.
Scariest thing about this car is the lack of a rearview mirror. Maybe as well not knowing that a semi is up your ass. A Suzuki gt500 engine would help here a little.

I think you could hear the semi coming up behind you, over the little rattle that 2 cylinder makes, and the visibility is pretty expansive! Note also, a 600 pound car has no sound deadening, either. Rear view mirrors were optional, in the fifties, my '63 Rambler American has no outside rear view mirrors.
There are human beings that weigh more than that car.
I am going to get crucified by the purists but I can think of several small "real" 4cyl water cooled engines that would make this thing go like stink and sound even better.
