CliqueProductions, Dom/Dom2K, Mark Rober, LADBible has some really cool stuff…like people who survived insane events tell their story etc. Colin & Samir is cool when they interview a KZreadr you’re interested in, or from a topic you’re interested in. There’s way more, but that’s just a starter kit. If you can’t keep attention on a video for 30+ mins you’re not watching the right videos. I gave you topics ranging from 2K, real NBA content/bball pods, sports stories, people telling stories about every topic possible, a defense lawyer who reacts to rap videos, trials like the YSL one, all kinds of crazy stuff dude is hilarious. Then kinda documentaries about really wide ranging pretty important topics. Hope you get some enjoyment out of some of those!

  • @BOnYTB

    @BOnYTB

    28 күн бұрын

    I don’t think he necessarily needs to be the 2, but I’d like to see him share ball handling duties more. He shouldn’t have the insanely high USG% he does. He isn’t Luka. Like he should handle it more than Tatum, I’ve seen ppl try to say he should be a SF and I disagree w that too, but just someone else who can be a secondary ball handler and can create their own shot. I was hoping that’d be Ivey, and I don’t think it’s impossible it could be. He’d need to become a much better 3P shooter though and a better defender etc. Ausar would need to be more comfortable handling the ball, shooting at least corner 3s, etc. I think the ideal player next to him is someone 6’3, 6’4+ that can guard 1s/2s, hit C&S 3s off ball or attack close outs, push it in transition if they get the board or they’re closest to whoever got it. They don’t need to be some floor general, but a good enough passer to be a secondary. Like Booker shouldn’t be playing PG, but he doesn’t need a pure point next to him. Beal isn’t good enough to do it, but maybe like an Anfernee Simons that could defend, someone like that. Jrue Holiday would work, Derrick White would work, etc. Obviously those guys aren’t realistic but that kind of player. Cade just isn’t a great athlete. He’s more of a stronger guard that can get to his spots, gets to the basket and I’m sure will get to the rim more with more spacing and gets a better whistle. He can play off ball no problem, no doubt in my mind he can be a VERY good C&S 3P shooter. He’s also a decent defender, and if he didn’t have such a huge offensive burden I believe he could be a pretty + defender against bigger guards and smaller 3s. I just really don’t know who that’s gonna be. I like Reed Sheppard but he’s smalllll, and idk how good of a defender he’ll be especially with a 6’3 wingspan. Lonzo Ball before he got hurt would be literally perfect. That’d be such an insane back court.

  • @BOnYTB

    @BOnYTB

    28 күн бұрын

    I like Fontecchio a lot for that reason but ya they need more shooting. They should use Stew as a backup stretch C, him at PF is nuts unless the C is like Chet, and even then it’d only be ok for small periods of time for specific matchups. There simply should never be more than one complete non shooter on the floor, and if there is for a very brief stint, the other 3 should be pure knockdown shooters. You can stagger mins it’s not some impossible task. If I see another Ivey Ausar Stew Duren lineup I’ll lose it lol. I wouldn’t mind getting like Buddy Hield just bc I’m sure he’d be willing to sign like a 2y/$48-50M deal or something then ideally a 3rd year TO…and having someone who can take 10 3s a game and hit 40% gives crazy gravity. I hope Grimes is healthy bc I think he can be a good 3&D wing, Fontecchio, maybe they’ll grow a brain and use Stew as stretch 5, hopefully can trade for or find another 3&D SF/PF. They should be putting a lot of $ behind finding the best shooting coach they can to help Ausar hopefully hit corner 3s eventually and get Ivey to like 36%. Then Sasser can shoot though he needs to get better at passing…and they can find another couple shooters. If they signed Buddy, traded for like Aaron Wiggins or something assuming it was just 2nds, re-sign Tecc, they have Grimes, tried to trade for some kind of SF/PF that can really shoot, Sasser can shoot, use Stew at backup 5, etc. then I’ll be pretty content. Just add as much shooting as possible (ideally they can defend some but shooting is most important) so they can play an offense that wasn’t a Time Machine back to 1998 I’m cool with it.

    Just to clear up the confusion. The pistons traded Christian wood AND THE RIGHTS TO OUR NEXT 6 FIRST RD PICKS for the rights to Isaiah Stewart and Trevor ariza. That is is the pick the Knicks now own. The pick is essentially lottery protected thru 2027 which is why we are where we are now. Troy weaver came in and hamstrung this organization in his first draft. No flexability for the last 4 years. Only 3 to go

  • @BOnYTB

    @BOnYTB

    29 күн бұрын

    The rights to their next 6 first round picks sounds way crazier than it is haha. Sounds like they literally own 6 DET 1sts. But ya it was 1-16 in 21-22 and 22-23, 1-18 in 23-24, 1-13 in 24-25, 1-11 in 25-26, then 1-9 in 26-27. If it doesn’t convey by 2027, it becomes a 2nd rounder. If it doesn’t convey I might have to quit watching them forever lol. And I wish it was lotto protected for 2025/2026/2027, it’s even worse that at the end of it they could end up giving up like the 10-14th pick or w/e. They got HOU’s 2027 2nd and what ended up being Delon Wright in that deal which they messed up obviously. It hasn’t really hamstrung them THAT much just bc they’re so bad that they wouldn’t be trading 1sts anyway and it’s prolly good they didn’t lol. If they badly wanted to trade a 1st they could’ve traded one on draft night, or traded “next available 1st,” (so two years after that pick conveys they’d convey the pick to whoever they traded it to) they could’ve traded a distant 1st like 2029 starting in 22-23, 2030 in 23-24, 2031 in 24-25, etc. They could’ve swapped the protected part. So if they wanted to, they could swap ‘24 1st protected 19-30. So if DET lands 19-30, that team gets nothing. If they land 1-18 and that team lands a little higher, let’s say DET is 5 and they swapped ‘24 protected 19-30 at the 23-24 deadline with ORL (who ended up getting P18) ORL could swap their pick at 18 for DET’s at 5. This would obv be valuable to a team that’s good, DET was guaranteed to be a lotto team this year…so even if you’re a team that expects to maybe barely make the playoffs or the play in, or barely miss it…so like pick 12-16 kinda range, that’s still a super valuable swap. DET was likely gonna be in the mid lotto at worst, like 8-9 ish, and you’re pick 16, even swapping 16 for 8 is fantastic. But you also get the chance that they end up in the T4 either by being horrible or lotto lock. Even the 7th odds get T4 like 32% of the time. So yea super valuable. Then of course the least likely but still possible way to trade a pick, amend the protections. If it’s the trade deadline of 23-24 and DET is where they were, awful and it’s not looking like that pick will convey until prolly 25-26 at the earliest, maybe not til 26-27, and a tiny chance it won’t at all…if there’s any way to improve the chance you get a pick a team will hear you out. So say they wanted to move their ‘27 1st at the ‘24 deadline, but they can’t bc that’s still protected 1-9 in 27, they could call up whoever owns that pick and barter. Like yo this pick we owe that’s 1-18/1-13/1-11/1-9, we’ll change those protections to 1-10 in ‘24, then 1-6 in ‘25, but then if it doesn’t convey you don’t get the pick. If it doesn’t convey in ‘25 we’ll give you the ‘29 MIL 2nd we have, and idk if they own their ‘25 2nd it’s ridiculously confusing, but if so then that too, if not then their choice of DET’s ‘27 2nd, and MIN’s 2030 2nd. Obviously it wasn’t a smart move by Troy Weaver, at all. I like Stew, but he’s at best a backup stretch 5 that plays like 13-18 mins off the bench…and is someone that could play the 4 for small periods with very specific kinda Cs. Like Chet would be a decent example if they wanted to play big and add rebounding but not kill their spacing. Unfortunately the FO is awful and has also had bad coaches, so they’ve decided to develop him as a PF, which is insanity. If he had been developed as a stretch 5 for his entire career, he’d prolly already be good enough to play that role. DET is clueless though unfortunately. I’m just glad Trajan Langdon took over and I hope he truly has full power. If he wants to fire Monty I hope (doubt it tho) that h can do that and hire his guy. I hope if he wants he can make bball decisions without input from Weaver or especially Arn Tellem, and please not Monty 😂 Ppl are gonna tell me to touch grass prolly, but I like writing about nerdy bball stuff. Idc that most of the time nobody reads it, or only a cpl ppl do. It only takes me a few mins to write, and I’ve written silly stuff like this before and have gotten replies saying they appreciated it so why not post it? I am bored late at night anyway.

    @@BOnYTB “The rights to our next 6 first round picks” is quite literally what it is tho. The Knicks don’t OWN all 6, but we don’t either until the draft of said year, which, hamstrings us considering any deal you make to get marginally better players is going to cost those picks you just locked up. And sure, protections on 6 picks isn’t completely taboo if it is a player that improves your roster. NOT a 6’8 C, who isn’t really a C, but isn’t fast enough and can’t shoot well enough to be a starting 4. You may want to just stop watching basketball now then, cause this pick WILL NOT convey, and if it does, that is an absolute disaster for us. “You are finally good enough to get swept in the first rd, now, just go ahead and take the next years draft off”. And to say we “wouldn’t have traded 1sts cause they are too bad to” is insane😂 how tf else does a small market improve? Free agency? Sure. If you aren’t in Detroit. The draft? Okay, well you are then hoping for good lottery luck and we’ve seen where that has gotten us. Cade needs a true #2 and making a bold trade is the only way to get that done. If we had tradeable firsts before 2027, im sure we could have been in on an OG trade, a RJ Barrett, hell even a buddy heild. (Btw, we have made a trade with the Knicks when we sent bojan and burks. And instead of clearing protections like the entire fan base was asking, we got grimes, Flynn, Fournier, arcidiacono and a couple seconds… yet another L) Nobody is trading anything worth ANY value for a first rd pick protected 15-30, that just ain’t happening. And that wouldn’t benefit us whatsoever. Also, idk if you can trade picks with protections on them already, with more protections. I’ve never seen it atleast. I believe those firsts are just held in nowhere land till the draft lotto of that year. I just didn’t understand, don’t understand, and will never understand the thought process behind your first 4 moves as a GM of a rebuilding team being: 1) sign and trading for jerami grant and mason plumlee (giving up assets). 2) drafting Killian Hayes 3)Trading every ounce of flexibility you have for a center, who is too small to be a starting center, yet too slow and too unreliable of a shooter to be a starting 4. 4) drafting Saddiq Bey (okay, cool pick right?) nah. We finna flip him FOR THE BUST OF THAT DRAFT in James Wiseman. MIND… NUMBING…

    First step: fire monty Williams I don’t think ppl realize just how detrimental he was to our players development, dude started killian hayes over Ivey when it was clear as day that killian wasn’t in our future and we took Jaden top 5 last year, don’t even get me started on Monty Benching ausar for Isiah livers who’s no longer on the team, monty has to go.

    That lineup is horrific at shooting. Like, it's otherworldy bad. No way that team wins anything. What's the point of these rebuilds if you don't take on the court fit into account. You just throw a bunch of high overall players together. Works with 2k though, just goes to show how broken mynba is and how lazy 2k is.
