The reason so many play it is relatively simple: after the nerf of the 279 and chieftain, suddenly the CW/Advance meta are 60TPs. the current Onslaught season only accelerates that

There is something broken in this game because Always OP is boring. I had it. I played it. I have over 50% or 51% Winrate. And I sold it. Something in this game is broken. I can't put my finger on exactly what. Games you win aren't really fun and tanks you have fun in them keep losing. I keep losing 2k 3k 4k games in my S.conquerer. at exactly 47% Winrate. Then there are tier 10 tanks with 50 to 52% winrate with much less damage done. Something in this game is very broken.

@@fanaticaudienc8089 It's the Matchmaking and it's tank pairing mechanism. Just look at all tanks in certain categories like "Heavy Assault Tank", some are just outright better than the rest of this classification.

Because it's not rewarding or it's just isn't fun. Or you lose a very fun match. Fun... such an unusual concept. How is Matchmaker affecting enjoying playing the game so much? I don't get it.

@@fanaticaudienc8089 Platoons ruin it a lot the MM can't cope with those, it usually puts two tanks of the same class against each other. Tanks in the same class aren't equal to begin with, you are sabotaging your own team by picking something like an Super Heavy for example.

Thing that happend was change of meta in CW with nerf of chieftain and 279e. And now players are preparing for expected CW campaign.

@@friederinochickerino5474 i'd imagine it's possible for it to be a mod. should just be needing to observe all the shots being fired, similar to those ancient mods that would ping you of any tree falling on the map. I was just wondering how to show it but it already exists on console. If you're dead and spectating, like the leo in question, the damage/blocked/assisted totals you see are for the tank you are spectating. If pc had it, the leo would've seen 5k damage before typing (whether they would type anyway depends on how smooth their brain is)

This was the first tier 10 I got. I grinded so hard for it and never really played the game since. I love the looks of it and how much damage it does

Yeah games like these are mixed for me. The grind is soooo long like way to long. (Like warthunder). And at top tier you wont make profit a single time without premium account. I would say for a new player it would take serveral monts getting a tier x just playing one line. Also i get why new players should not enter a top tier game. So in 2024 i would never start to play this game. The only reason i keep going back to it is because i started 10 years ago and have a lot of tier x’s. But yeah i like lol a lot more where you progress sideways and not from low tier to high. I think it could be fixed if the tech tree was less fixed. And you could unlock kinda “all tanks” in a tree if only you grinded all the way for one line in a tree.

@@benjaminpedersen6345 yeah tbh I don’t know how it took me but I know it was a while and I had some free days of premium account so I pushed hard at that time. I barely play it anymore cause I suck at the game but idk it’s crazy how many hours you gotta dedicate to get it.

I just got the 60tp yesterday and played 3 games in it and love it already. Averaged 4.2k dmg

I love the E100 but once I experienced not getting penned by any and all heat rounds in the 60tp I started liking it more.

i get penned often by heat, just below the turret at sidescraping. But if the enemy dont know this weakspot..you are right lol

On shooting (what we now call) standard rounds: 7:09 "...when, of course, you need them." Which, according to WG, is only every single shot you ever take in the game.

QB the turbo experimental device will aid in aiming with the dispersion buff it offers, instead of a regular turbo unit.

me in superconq too lol. Even hulldown my cupola is a easy target for enemy if i move . But if a other player has a superconq, i only get riccochet at cupola lol. My 60tp bounces way more. But only i enemy dont shot heat.

I wish the 60TP will hit for 801 in WoT Blitz... They gived the 60TP APCR as standard to nerf it because it was too good... (for those who are curious, APCR has 2 degrees of Normalization while the standard AP shell has 5 degrees, APCR hates Angled plates)

I wouldn't call the 60TP overpowered, however it's far from weak. It's above average but it's actually fairly well balanced... I'm looking at you 277...

My first T10 heavy ;) Love this tank. Love the mobility in particular.

The 60 tp will be my first t10 tank once I get the 6.1 mill credits. I have enjoyed the polish heavies in general.

till t7 i find the tree trash, but at T8 and the second turret - that was the time where the fun begins lol!

It was meta in advances and tournaments before onslaught. It's because nerf of Chieftain and 279e. Chieftain is not used anymore and 279 only on few maps.

I started playing again after 7 or 8 years absence. I like youtuber like Quickybaby, becaus they use rations! Okay they have always best gear and minimum 6 skill crew and normaly shoots only gold ammo, but the normal player cannot affort it. So my friends and I always chants: "Thank you Quickybaby, thank you Mailand for using rations!" Its so good to see the enemy tank life burns down. So QB carry on with your vids and please use always rations! 😁

I always did good with this tank, not just good, I would average like 5.5k a game when it was first released and I'm not that kinda player. I know people called it the 60 toilet paper, or the 60 HE p, but I genuinely loved it. I'm not sure what changed between release and now, but for a long time it was considered the worst tank in the game minus the HE meta when the type 5H HE was in the game. I do think over time maybe the metas have changed to somehow give 60tp a fighting chance again with all the recent nerfs and balancing changes. I still think the buffed E100 is a more friendly to play tank. At least in NA where everyone spams gold.

Wait till you go to ASIA1 server, where literally every tanks you face spam gold into you(95% time). I am a German tanks lover, so I'm almost master the German techtree, only have Gw E-100 and E-50M left to grind, which I would be finish very soon. Everytime I play my t10, no matter how thick your ammor, if they bounce you with their regular shell from first hit, next thing you know you got all the HEAT/HESH/APCR into your turret like it was made in French😂😂😂😂. But overall, I love the 60TP as much as I love my E-100. Only problem to my E-100 is its and its brothers are gold magnet. While my 60TP can easily bounce off most of them rounds, my German heavies suffered all the dmg😢.

@@phuocmai5023 yeah its really rough when the enemy has 340 heat, a lot of these newer tanks with 310-320 heat really can't do much to you in the e100. So I agree about the 60tp being better able to manage high pen heat with its turret, but I really do love the ride height of the e100 and it's 334 heat shell feels really good.

@@phuocmai5023 The weakness of nearly every German tank is gold round. The armor is thick but badly angled. I ran into the same problem with the Bobject line (Most gold rounds still struggle to go through the Bobject though).

yah, back in the days when gold rounds actually sold in gold, the German heavy is on another level, until WG decide to make gold rounds part of the game XD. I'm still in love with my big German tanks, they just don't perform as well as the 60TP in random games.

it is good, I struggle to reach silver past onslaughts, I just got the 60tp ang i now have 81%wr in it on onslaughts

From a console player, I think that the 60tp's armor only works on pc since no matter how little armor I show I get pend without fail like i am made of paper, so I just stick with my E100 since for me the armor actually works.

I played on pc for 4 years and my computer stopped working and ive been playing on xbox. Pc and console WoT are 2 wildly different games. Pc is actually somewhat real physics and armor model is good. The game does some very smart math when you shoot to decide a penetration or not. On xbox it seems like the game treats all tanks as just flat plates. Lots of times i bounce shells i shouldn't, then i play tanks like badger and t110e3 and get absolutely shredded when on Pc those tanks are monsters that bounce most shells that hit them.

I like it aswell. It's a great mix between a super heavy and a more mobile heavium. The low HEAT pen coupled with the overall trollish nature of the gun makes it utterly useless in some games though. Oh yeah, and the E100 has better armor in my opinion, you can rely on that a little more. With the 60TP you hope for bad RNG or bad knowledge on the enemy's part, because it has more weakspots than a swiss cheese has holes.

60TP is a total beast. I honestly cannot see why anybody should play E100 anymore when the 60TP does almost everything better. And yes, that includes armour in my opinion - E100's armour is better on paper, but with the flat surfaces it is a perfect victim for gold shells, which is basically the default ammo used these days.

I got ammo racked by a T57 couple of days ago. Fun times.

The last he shot is a perfect demonstration of why i dont shoot he unless the target is literaly on its last 50 hp. Even a monster shell like that did only half what the regular ap would do. If the he fails to pen even one time, witch it very well may with sub 100mm of pen as it is with most tanks, it will always be better dpm to shoot regular ap. Since he does not overmatch and is now greatly effected by angle. Even the most poorly armored tanks may at certain zones have 70mm even 80mm of effective armor and thus a failure to pen will result anywhere from 0 to 50% of the damage of what the he could roll for killing the dpm.

Its why I take, at most, 3 HE shells on any tank I play now. And at times, I dont even bother taking ANY. WarRigging has nerfed HE to be utterly pointless.

Unless things have changed, I absolutely HATED my 60TP. I was constantly overmatched by same tier tanks. All my shots would bounce and all of their shots were absorbed. It was consistently like playing a paper armor tank with a pea shooter gun.

I haven't made it to the 60TP just yet. I'm still grinding out the 45TP, which was a chore at first... but the field mods actually help the thing out a lot. Its not a good heavy tank at all, but the field mods at least make it half decent. Looking forward to the 60TP when I get there though!

Yea this boild down to one thing with me, you have tanks like 60TP, S cong but they manage to nerf VZ55 because it whif out 900dmg too fast. It just doesnt make any sence. You have tank with quite good armor layout, 750 alpha, good gun handling, good mobility but itsk okay. In the other hand you tank thats mediocre in other stats but excell in one and then take it away. Just wg thing i guess.

In my opinion the 60TP has always been the meta... I researched the tank around 2 years ago and eversince then I've been having 3000 WN8 with it... Very strong turret with 8 degrees of gundep, 750 alpha with 950m/s AP shells and a fairly great reload... what more could you ask for?

in a hull down against the is 7 you're as good as dead. i've managed to smash a 60tp and a tiger maus with 1.6k hp left(is7). it all depends on what you're facing and where.

I personally prefer the E 100 or the VK 72.01K. They fit my playstyle more and therefore better than the 60TP imo

Yes! Finally a CC says it. This 60TP meta is mega fabricated. People pretend it is due to the Chief/ Early nerfs. Meanwhile people started to lean towards the 60tp over the Sconq and some even the E5 in a lot of situations. For what reason? People where shitting on the 60tp "Bad goldpen" and "Horrible gunhandling" and suddenly. "It has high alpha and hp." It always had it. Even dropping a stabilizer to get a turbo to make the gunhandling even worse. (Suddenly it is not an issue.) Last Onslaught season people would curse if you would pick the TP. If you pick it now it is suddenly all fine. When the AX got buffed it was the second coming of Jesus and would call the STB old news. Well look at it now. STB is far more popular than the AX. It is crazy people make up a fad and just call it "meta."

A miracle WG didn't nerf it already.

What was it, the Type 59? It was so OP they removed it? I once shot one five times from close range with that Russian tank with the 150mm and they all bounced.

Honestly I don’t agree. I got the 60TP because of you I put a 5 mark crew in with Safe stowage. With a T3 survival improvement suite I still get ammo wracked every single time I try to side scrape and constantly get out played by faster heavies. I simply do not agree that this tank is worth the HYPE

it just seems like a better version of the e100. You can't pen it as easily with its round, smaller turret, especially with premium, oh wait i mean pay to win rounds. lol thanks Quicky for agreeing 1:30 :P

happens a lot doesn't it, a little too often if you ask me. also, he seems to hit when his reticle isn't even over the target tank....seems a little sus

how often you meet t8 with t10...

I totally hate playing against 60OP, the lower plate is extremely random and sometimes bounces 330/340 heats for no reason, in hull down it has no weakspots (pixel cupola doesn't count as even if you hit that you often do critical hit with 0 damage) and hits for 750 so you cant trade 1for 1 against it.

It’s all fun and games until you get ammoracked, which is fairly common

Great game qb i learn from your streams, 60 tp is great tank but somehow i do more dmg in russian tanks:) but now ill reconsider to give another shot with 50/60 tp

QB : you still one of the best 1v1 stremers! even if the wr isnt 65+% you can dominate 99,99% of players in 1v1 because of the aggressive style :)
