I've been playing this game since it came out 9 years ago and I remember when this tank was released. It was an absolute menace back in the day, and it's nice to see it slightly restored to some of its former glory. I wish they buffed a little bit more than they did just to make it competitively playable against some of the more stronger tanks, but some is better than none.

I too remember when it came out, last year I got my 8 year profile badge. I remember really wanting the IS-3 Defender back in the day but I was a broke teenager back then😂

I rmeember the ad of the defender when it first came out. It had is 3 kind of attachement like spare tracks and rear exausts. Still dissapointed the is3 defender after with PBR still doesnt. Maybe a legendary attachement one day?

I love playing this is 3 defender like the last comment I've been playing for 7 years and this is one of the first premiums I picked up even with the new meta this thing is still enjoyable for me really glad to see a buff and not a nerg

Of course! A lot of players underestimate Enhanced Armor and go for the big hp. 250mm armor with Enhanced Armor becomes 260. That's the difference between taking damage and causing a ricochet.

With 77 % wr and 364 games in the defender it was my favorite tank. the second it dropped from 80% wr i stopped playing it because it felt being power creeped. It might still be kept in the garage even with the armor update.

As someone who was around when it was released but never got it…..it is happy times indeed I remembered queing with my brother and running into them and being terrified. They were the ultimate force back then Obviously it ain’t quite what it used to be; but it has been exceeding my expectations. Your luck on those pot shots was absolutely fucking ridiculous though lmao. I’m over here fully aiming in and still not hitting simetimes

They just moved it to the camoflage section as an option to buy it. Before you had to play some matches and you would get an exclusive offer.

The Lowe has massively superior upper glacis armor to the Tiger 2. The Tiger 2 only matches the Lowe's upper glacis armor when it's upper plate is angled. The Lowe's upper glacis when angled reaches upwards of 350+ mm thick. It's busted af

The armor wasn't my issue with this tank... Playing with 122mm troll guns are really torture. This one and the others all needs huge gun handling buffs. Why the hell should I play with this one or others when I can simply use other tier T8 heavies (especially American ones)?

Alpha and pen is still busted. It's just annoyingly less flexible. Kinda like a Borsig moved up to tier 9

WG games that only one vehicle that they refuse to buff them WOTB: IS-3 (Refuse to buff its armor) WOWs: Zao (it has the lowest HP of all Cruisers by 10K HP combine with it can combust when get spotted to add on with the insult it has the worst Turret traverse of all cruisers)
