the first model was just full of memories. it was devestating when the second model was released but the new ken is so much better! the developers made a good choice to make it kind of a 'hybrid' of the two! im just glad its better now, love your vids fluffy!!

Fun fact that nobody probably ever asked or thought about: the artist for the new Kendyll remodel took inspiration from Monster hunter for the concept, thus why it appears more beast like and why it has an iconic tail :D

isnt the ken tail based off crocs? Even the original design is based off a croc ancestor iirc. Honestly even the original redesign has a croc like tail, it just didnt really come out well in the in game model. And if so which monster hunter monster did it even take inspo from

@@theonewhoslost basically like the brute wyverns, Glavenus perhaps, they didn’t specify on which monster they just said they took inspiration from Monster hunter when designing the remodel Also, the tail is a bit more broad, when it’s swimming it looks like a croc but when it’s walking it looks like a tail from a brute wyvern, like Glavenus or Devil jho

Anyone remember when Gramoss and Kendyll absolutely dominated the desert? Like basically nothing stood up to them and both could kill each other, though Gram usually won. God those were the memories, the desert hangout spot, everyone just chillin in there, hanging out.. I even remember the old mechanic where if you stayed something that was either a predator to your or multiple tears above you.. you'd get uncomfortable and slowly die. I think that's the name of it anyway, idr.

Oh yes the uncomfortability system! God I miss that honestly. It would go up when caught in bad weather in the open and when near predators. Neat stress mechanic, even though it could be basically be periodically taken care of like any other need

From what I know, people aren't generally quitting JUST because of an awful remodel. It's mostly because of the way the game itself is now. The economy is absolutely broken, and people are over it.

I'm glad ken finally got some well deserved buffs, but at the same time I wish the devs could at least either nerf its speed or remove either ambush or grab because this is basically the fastest tier 5 thats faster than every other tier 5 and tier 4. I literally cannot even play as any other tier 4 or 5 without some ken chasing me down and actually outrunning me and then killing me. Many other creatures that previously relied on speed are now outclassed by ken. Just the other day I was playing as a teen pliarys, and I was near the redwoods when suddenly this ken appeared from the sky (I'm assuming jumped out of the water from central rocks) and started running after me. Even with my ambush on pliarys and with a huge head start the ken still caught up to me and killed me

yeah I agree on the speed part. It's ambush speed is at 73. And when you look at a lot of tier 5 and 4 creatures, most herbivores caps in the mid 60's and other low damaging tier 5's are even slower

I don't think old Kendyll had that much speed, but it’s nice that it’s back close to top like in my glory CoS days

Although CoS in general has alot of kill on sight happening in general. That’s kinda inevitable with the quests requiring that you attack a player 5 times before resetting, same for the the session gacha I wouldn’t mind playing the niche of the lurking herbivore that evades the stronger creatures but as it is that’s actively discouraged

Kendyll's keep killing me, 10/10 experience. I love seeing so many around now though ngl haha. I've only been playing for about a month so I didn't really know the history of it. Thanks for the video :)

Not joking, this gave me SOOOOO many memories and has given me a reason to play Sonaria again. My beloved Kendyll is back!

Finaly, they added a scary old model of ken but stronger, it's amazing to say the least

my hope is they do the same for gramoss as it is the second most hated remodle

I'm so glad they're switching back to t-rex, I've always seen kendyll as a derpy crocodile that will most likely kill you on sight. I cant stress this enough, I'm so glad they are bringing back the trex so people don't have to grind their asses off for gyro.

Aw man, I was counting down the SECONDS until the remodel came out, I’m so glad it got the redesign it deserves- brings back so many beta memories when so many players used it.

When the kendyll got its remodel I wanted to play as it so bad, I was always scared because I kept dying as a teen because people hated the kendyll. Even though it’s a cool creature it doesn’t deserve hate, Everytime I see someone as a kendyll I always want to help them because literally most of the servers I join hate the kendyll’s.

this update isn't the only reason lots of people quit, the creatures of Sonaria recode made me and lots of other ppl quit too

When I first got kendyll I got so overjoyed that I started heading to oasis to KOS (I know im dissapointmen) but then it turned to the FATTEST croccodile ive ever seen so I left. After a few years my friend reminded me of this game so I replayes it. I saw the kendylls new design so I decided to KOS and Im happy that he basically reclaimed his throne. Thank you CoS thank you.

honestly i have pretty bad memories of ken (either being targeted because i was one, or always murdered by one and losing more than a few glimmer). never minded the croc look but i felt like it was too different from the original. this new version... id give 20/10. i already spend most of my time underwater and i feel unstoppable now with ken. i love it so much.

the Kendyll was actually my second ever creature ! I got nested as it when i think it was t rex, stopped playing for awhile, came back and it was a croc and I sat there like wh- LOL I still love it!

I miss the old kendyll 😢 I really liked the silly crocodile themed design, it was my absolute favourite creature for that exact reason!

I was one of the people that was so mad about the Ken getting changed the first time and although i stopped because of kosers and not the remodel im actually happy they found a nice in between of the old and new models. If it was this the first time i wouldn't have ever been upset of the new model honestly.

Gosh, I remember my very first time logging on after the remodel. I was absolutely devastated because it was such a drastic change.

I have a Kendyll that has been my most oldest one, it's been through the first design, to the second re-design and into the now third re-design that I love the most. It's also a Glimmer 👍 When I went to play the Kendyll again, I got killed by the underwater whale creature, I can't remember the name, but I managed to get some hits on it

Kendyl is a clear example of how cruel, and sometimes fair, nature can be with living beings.

Also, elder Kendyll does 766 dmg, and i killed one time a sygmatox as it and did 928 dmg per hit to that sigma. Kendyll is AWESOME 🎉🎉❤

I have a theory... Kendyll 1st model were used to survive on land.. but later on due to extinction they have to hide themselves inside water...years after years kendyll's body started taking a shape... and that's what we called kendyll 2nd model.. After the extinction.. 2nd model started living on land again with the ability to swim underwater... Then the kendyll maybe started a family and one of their baby born with a different DNA.. And thats what we call KENDYLL model 3.. But remember it's just a theory....

The reason why players quit is because of kendyll. About the kendyll it's weight is 16,250 lbs and the dmg is 744, but in game the kendyll can kill a Hellion Warden in 1127 dmg and the hellion dies easily. So the new kendyll remodel will be the kosers new creature to attack other players 😮😮😮

I have never played nor even heard of this game. I still won't ever play it but thank you KZread algorithm for recommending me something to watch.

I played CoS since 2020 and the kendyll brings me a lot of memories with me and my friends playing CoS

In my opinion kendyll is the king of the water and is prince of the land and Ghartokus is the king of the land (well maybe magna is first but terrestrial wise the king)

Since then Kendyll has returned to be the king

I think it's very good tho I want to point out that your 1v1 Ghartokus vs Kendyll in the land wasn't consistent at all, I tested it out with some friends both 200 Age 5 rounds and Ghartokus won everytime with about 1/3 of his health left, the issue if your test is that your friend really missed a lot of her attacks lol. Great video tho keep up the good content

I miss the chonky crocodile already, but we needa make the devs give us a 2nd gram remodel like whatbthey did to ken, the current gram model is trash, you cant feel its power each step it takes like the old model. We either needa get back the old model or make a better model

Honestly, I like the new one because it looks less scary and less like a predator, more friendly to other creatures, because in the bio for the gram it’s supposed to be a creature that has morality and protects smaller herbivores, yea the new model isn’t great, but it does look more friendly now

I remember when I used to play cos with my friends, but when they changed my t-rex I quit, and I haven't been back since but I think its changed too much anyways for me to enjoy it again.

I never played as the Kendyll before, so I god one from the gacha after watching and OMG, its probably my current favorite!

Fr my brother and i quit when we got kendyll revamped. even with the recode it just felt overwhelming.

Yeah, kendyll is probably not the king of anything, it gets killed by arrainoa / kavo in water and it gets killed by ghartokus / literally anything else that's slightly strong on land

I’ve actually quit cos a while back,but I came back tbh a sense in my mind after watching zotos vids after quitting made me come back

No matter what I'll forever use the kendyll because we share a name, it's just too special

I love old kendyll so much. The first model ever, I mean. I enjoyed playing this carcharadontosauridae with crocodile vibes, and when this ugly crocodile remodel has been announced... I was MAD. I tryed to kill EVERY kendyll I see, especially babys. But somewhen in summer i accidentally found ery's msg where she said kendyll will get another redesign... I was happy. I am so glad our silly dinosaur is back. I will always love the old kendyll more than any other version, but this redesign is also amazing
