The year they played this Robert was 59, Jimmy was 63 and John Paul was 61. They sound just like they did in their early 20's. Jason did a great job on the drums; I'm sure his father was smiling from the other side.

The keyboardist is John Paul Jones. He’s not a fill in, he’s the original he just dyed his hair. There’s a video of Jason Bonham jamming along to a video of his dad playing Moby Dick as a tribute which is awesome.

I saw these guys in the '70s with Bonham and have to say out of all the live versions this concert is their best concert ever. When they were young you could see their energy on stage. Now they are older and it's like a fine wine it ages so well. Jason fills in for his dad so well. I guess having John teach his son makes it awesome. Jason also knows every song in detail. Jones had said that in an interview. When the band wanted to play again Jason had to try out like everyone. John and Jones were the backbones of Zeppelin. When they started practicing for the concert Jason actually knew every beat which amazed Jones and the others.

Jason has every black market video ever made of Zep. When they were rehearsing, for Celebration day, Jimmy would be trying to remember something and Jason would say, when you were in Japan in 71 you played it this way. So his knowledge was a big help when rehearsing. And I believe he's using his dad's original drum kit. ❤️

This is news to me wow can you just imagine 20 million people requesting admission,.. if I would have known about it I would have been on the list as well. I would have been saving my money just to buy the ticket for 10 years if I knew it was comin up. I know this gives away my age and no woman likes to do that. But I've seen Led Zeppelin twice in my teenage years. Obviously in concert... In fact I recall being very close to the stage at one of the concerts. Robert plant had on black leather pants no shirt and his gorgeous hair. He was young and sexy and beautiful and I never thought that I'd ever seen a man as gorgeous as him, and that voice oh My gosh... Just the memory of it makes me get excited and giddy inside of my heart feels like it's being tickled.☺️

The man at the keyboard as you call him is John Paul Jones, founding member of Led Zep :-))) and yes, on the drums sits the son of John Bonham. He learned from the best and is really good. By the way, Puff Daddy played a cover of Kashmir together with Jimmy Page and it's called "Come with me" and was made for the Godzilla soundtrack. Age keeps being brought up. Fine, In this 2007 concert Plant is 59, Jones and Page both 63, Jason Bonham (John's son) was 32. After a few slightly embarrassing reunion appearances, they knew their reputation was in question. They made the mark and stood their ground from 1968 to 1980. They owed it to themselves AND us of the elder generation to prove, ONCE and FOR ALL why Led Zeppelin WAS the greatest band EVER. They rehearsed and rehearsed, put together a setlist that spanned the decade they owned, and nailed it! Could they have gone out on tour and conquered the world once again? Sure, but why? They've done it. The soul of the band was buried in 1980 when John died. This 2007 concert was their swansong. Be thankful the performance was captured on video as evidence proving that Led Zeppelin was the best!

I saw LZ in 1970 but I don't remember anything. 🤔🤷‍♀️😜 Now I'm seeing Robert & Alison on July 8/23. I plan on remembering and loving every moment. ❤️

I've never heard anyone react to 'For Your Life' from Celebration Day.Song originally appeared on the album Presence and had never been played live before. This was the only time ,obviously, that they played it live and the groove is fantastic

Bonham is a powerful drummer you can FEEL THE ENERGY IN HIS WHOLE BODY!! HE BOUNCES HIGH IN THAT SEAT AND YOU FEEL HE COULD FLY IF ONLY HIS FEET WEREN'T ATTACHED TO THE DRUMS 🤔🥁🥰🤯 It is plain to see he is obviously so proud to be in the position that his Dad once sat in. There can't be a better feeling than that for a young man.😁

JPJ was not one for the spotlight & so he seems to fly under the radar of most casual Zep listeners. But he is as remarkable in his talent & contribution as the other 3. They certainly had him more upfront during this concert, and rightly so. What a treat this show was!

Nope, that was definitely all the former members, except Jason on drums taking the place of his late father and he blew everyone away. This was a rare reunion that will never happen again. That’s what makes this concert so special. If you get around to it, that whole concert was unbelievable! The best I have seen. Thanks for the reaction. 👏

Plant (vocals)was born in 1948 he was 59 at that concert. Page(guitar) was born in 1944 so he was 63. John Paul Jones ( keyboard, bass and anything with strings) was born in 1946, so he was 61 and John son Jason on the drum was 41…born 1966. The baby….

Bout Time! This is a great version of this song. This had Jon's son Jason on the drums and I think the rest played straight to the album version, for him and the lucky few that got to be there.

This is one of my favorite LZ songs, and yes, this performance is epic. Usually I don't care much for live performances versus studio. But it seems that LZ, no matter their age, always delivers the goods on stage.
