Their talent is also aided by the fact that they are young and their voices haven't cracked yet. Young boys are able to reach higher notes relatively easily. That's why Christian young boy choirs see their see their talented performers no longer able to perform after their voices crack.

I'm from Kolkata when my family use to travel to Bandel via local train we often witnessed young educated guys in their mid 20s early 30s with full orchestra and talented and they use to entertain the travelers in the train with the melodious songs of kishor kumar and kumar sanu and they had a small white tin in which was kept for donations they never forced or ask people to pay a minimum amount whatever people could or could not they just kept singing and singing.... trust me when I say this their singer was sounding exactly like kishore kumar.
