The first tank typically uses a cation-exchange resin, and works to remove positively charged ions, effectively removing things like Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, and Iron. The second tank typically uses a anion-exchange resin, and works to remove negatively charged ions, effectively removing things like Chloride, Bicarbonate, Nitrate, Carbonate, and Sulfate. Dual tank systems aren't inherently "better," but they do tend to be cheaper to operate and recharge. Single tank systems are typically mixed resins, which means they have both cation and anion exchange resins mixed together. While it is certainly possible to have a dual tank system that is mixed resin in both tanks, that is a highly unusual configuration. If you have a "normal" dual tank system, the resins will likely need to be replaced at around the same time, and you definitely don't want to swap the positions. However, if this is truly a dual tank mixed resin system (highly unusual), then what you stated would be viable.
I always thought the hover boards were stupid and useless but your using it for sweeping. Smartest thing ive seen al day lol
Seems like you’re living the life with this KZread thing bro! Hope I can get my channel on your level one day🤘🏻🔥
I knew this was coming! Man likes his upgrades, girlfriends must get nervous lol
Keep the awesome content coming. Hope I make it to you level one day. Dream job!
Got to remember this when I build a garage in a couple of years
I hope you bought the Obsessed Garage Kranzle it is worth the expense. A bypass should be added to your tanks so you are not always forced to use di water.
Love the set-up! What kind of space is that? What are the diminsions? We need something similar. Thanks, AW
So it's been a year, how's the system treating you and is it still worth having the 2 tanks ?
Love the videos man keep the great content coming. I would love to start doing this just not sure where to start lol
Ryno! Get you a TDS meter online. They are about $20. Measure you’re water before running through the tanks and then measure after running through the tanks. That will also tell you when they are getting bad and need to be changed out. You ideally wants >1 ppm, but anything less than about 12 should dry spot free
The second tank is not a gimmick it actually does polish something so it is worth it
Awesome info. Thanks Ryno
Good info and thanks for breaking down all the prices
I want to know if you are letting your vehicles drip dry without spots using this ?
Third time I've watched this. Would be worthwhile having a water storage tank so you take from it to the pressure washer. That's what I'm doing using a water butt for the garden. You can have a sound proof box for the 4 stroke engine. That's my plan when my old Bosch dies. Well worthwhile with puretec
What gear ratio are you running with those 40s?
This is what I need. Wonder if they offer something like that here in Chicago
100 likes and Ryno rolls coal on the guy that complained
Any chance we can get a red white and blue decal in the shop? Would get 2-3 for sure
That's what's up bro. I used those for my pressure washing set and I also have one set up in my crib to wash at my house. That's the right move DMAXRYNO
do you drive around without a plate or do you take it off to record
Hey @dmaxryno, what were the dimensions on your old Sema Drop Star wheels?.. also huge fan of the channel! Shout out to my boy wes for for being so energetic on the channel! Keep doing what you guys do best 🤙🏽
Ive been searching through your videos, and i still dont know where you got the truck seats... they are clean!
Obsessed garage setup is clean.
Don't be dieing on use bro better get some shades on. U gotta keep this badass channel rolling.
I would leave the shop white because it helps with the lighting. If you paint it a dark color you will need more lights out their.
I need those wheels next to the wall .what size are they ?
Outside in Chicago? Great video helped me figure out what to run!
You'd love our carwash setups!! Imagine 3 of those (much larger) with an RO spot free system!

I'm not sure what the USA is like for truck washes but the truck wash I use in Canada has a setting called spot free rinse which uses a lower velocity and a different water compound that does the exact same thing. Saves me the mess of a wash bay and all the extra costs for that system. To each their own tho but I like the set up you got there, I'm sure it will be very efficient. 🤘🏼
What was the price.. and where I can get those
What’s the name of the place you got your water tanks?
Great information!
I have 2 big di tanks linked to each other. Those it have any use to make it 3 ? (Would it save me money on resin ?)
Liked and subscribed I just Looked up the company and they serve my area thankfully. Thanks sir appreciate the info! I need this for my shop.
Well better sounds better! lol I love it.
Sucks living in an apartment complex with a big black truck. Wish I could get one of those systems. I'm stuck using gallon jugs of distilled water and a worx hydroshot... lol. It gets the job done, but it is definitely a pita
If you want a better (still portable) solution, look into the girot garage di system. It’s similar to his system but smaller. I take it to an industrial filtration company to change out the resin. It’s 300 for the system and about 100 for the resin. I get it changed out for 20 locally in nj. The only thing holding me back on a bigger system is winter. I don’t know how much i trust heating blankets for the bigger tanks
Ya should’ve tossed him some work for it apparel to rub in eddies face
you should contact obsessed garage and get one of their pressure washer set ups see if he can hook it up with your deionized water they do insane amount of research on everything on detailing

Brad Taft he’s got way to expensive of a pressure washer and he is using the CR spotless for deionized. The pressure washer I ordered is already more expensive than I wanted to spend but but I think it is more in most people’s price range.
I know old video,do you know if those the 10” 135lb tanks or the 14” 305lb tanks? Thanks
How much are the tank rentals per month?
Good job, i like the way you think and count, obssesed garage charge very expensive, i like your set up on ar blue and everything , i think yours is the most efficient , rather than anyone else, so i think ypu spent about 1700 for all the setup include the pressure washer...
Where did you buy the tanks?
“Arh some guy yelling about Madison Square Garden” lol classic
Got my spotless today and spend $410 on it once I get my own shop I’ll put that system in my bucket list but for now I need something small that fits my 2019 corolla se 😂
Thanks for the cost breakdown!!!! Nobody ever does this.

What’s the tanks cost?
Very nice setup, i need that in my garage. I would rather buy them. There super easy to clean out and recharge. I actually have one in my garage. Now I want another one! No City water here. Love the video!!

scottp760 I use a ton of these for my business and exchange monthly if u have any info to not have to exchange 5 per month I would love to hear more
Kranzle pressure washer would be great with that.
Looking forward to seeing the first wash with new setup
1st tank filters the main hard water contaminates while the second neutralizes the PH.
Does he ever mention the name of the company? I don't see a link either
CR Spotless at best is ver inconsistent. You’ll prob get between 10-13 washes for $119 replacement cartridges.. super expensive! This option here is industrial system really not a bad one!
Where you buy your Di water system
I would put everything near the circuit breaker and then put a removable wooden box that protects everything that way all you have to do is run a water source to filter system and when it's time to clean it out your near the door and for delivery
Looking at di rental too I also have cr spotless but cost of resin getting expensive for how much di water I get out of it
What’s the cost for them to come out now with inflation?
I'm pretty sure all it is is a soft water system and those are actually pretty cheap do you have a huge Reservoir they even have the systems for all of the water system for homes
Can you just put the two systems in dollars per car wash (without the deposit) for us math impaired?
I'm so confused as to why only 1000 gallons per tank.. incoming water must be bad or they are using crappy resin? You can buy a Pro Rinse 100 for $585 and get 4000 gallons @ 110ppm coming in of DI water for spot free use.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Any insight on this?
how much did you pay for the system?
What does that setup cost a month?
Cool video bro
How are these things that cheap? crazy
2nd love your vids bro keeep it up
What is the through put on a system like that? How fast does it “clean” the water? I’d like to have a mobile setup for cleaning windows and solar panels. Can I filter it in real time while cleaning?
@DMAXRYNO

Yes you can. That’s exactly what it’s doing for us.
Description links: apparel, sunglasses, and exhaust. Missing link: the 6 times bigger purtech system, or a model number for it.
Haha I almost worked for that company, and now they show up in your video. Small world
Better sounds better haha love it
anyone know who rents/sells these setups in Texas???
How much were those tanks??
“Better is better so lets go better” hahah better is always better
Yeah, Ezekiel get my tags to😂😂
What this tanks called.
Tesla pressure washer?
After a little time... whats your thoughts now on this system? I just called my local company and am getting quotes. They want to rent the equipment which drives up the cost some...

Waking up from a nap to see you uploaded, perfect timing
Jw did you factor it how long it will take for you to use 2000gal of wash if your buddy gets 15 washes for 300gal or 200gal you will get 105 washes for 2000gal , it will be cheaper for a big shop for the pure , but for joe blow you will want the 300gal one

Ben Derisgreat fair point. But most households have multiple vehicles and possibly an Rv/trailer. You can also wash your windows on your house spot free. So I can see the usage being pretty high even for a house.
What company tho? Put it in the link
Should add an inline water heater
I work for Puretec. Best team I was ever part of.

Girots garage. It better than cr but it’s less upfront and you can usually get the resin locally for less. Even if you get it online it’s cheaper and lasts longer than cr
As of April this year they don’t rent out tanks any more you have to buy the tanks and self pick up at one of their locations . 😱😱😱😱🥺🥺🥺

I rinse off golf carts at a golf course and we don’t want to take time to dry them (time is money). But the air drying leaves water spots. Will use of softened water allow us to wash off our carts and allow us to air dry them without spotting?
@DMAXRYNO
2 жыл бұрын
With Deionized water, absolutely. That's the main benefit of DI water. Softened water still leaves water spots and is different than what this setup is.
@billygraham5589

@@DMAXRYNO Okay so it is DI water we need, and that is for the final rinse after blasting the dirt and grime off the golf carts. Give me a 👍 if I got it right, but please do feel free to chime in.
Look into Sprayland in Marion, Iowa for an electric pressure washer. I have one and it is crazy quiet, and highest quality.
I with they had an office in Missouri.......
Good choice
If I washed my set up more maybe I’d look into something like this 😂😅
Is the first tank a water softner due to you having very hard water in you’re area.
