Glad you enjoyed this! I organized this bracket with Matt Beach and competed in it as Dr. Hunk, and I'm really glad it's gotten a lot of attention. It was probably the highest level in-person event the game's ever had so far, but I'm hoping the next time we host it, it's even better!

​For sure! We run online brackets really often right now and just released a big mod for the game that also added a previously "forbidden" character to the game. Lots to be excited about.

Honestly if SEGA does a reimagining of this game along with Sonic R, I would not have a problem with that. It's actually fun to play in my opinion.

Many community tournaments yeah,like Tournament Zone,Sunset Showdown and Mobius Cup.

There needs to be a remake of this.

If you think that was amazing,just watch Sunset Showdown tournament see how great this game is actually. That tournament was with the real professionals like GammaCrackers,MysticNoodles,Matt Beach,CarrotPlus and more (except K.O.S.).

@@SGWolfie see in Sonic Arena's channel almost all the community tournaments (except the 1st two tournaments called Tournament Zone and Black Emerald Cup made by Cronnicossy) also exists a documentary about the competitive of this game and cover some tournaments made by the community,that video is 2 h 22 min long.

We need a remaster or a modern version of thos game man
