I just saw an incredible video of his early days with the song Go The Distance. Think you would enjoy it- One other comment about the video. He emphasizes the meaning of the verses he chose to get the emotion out. And for me though I had never really thought about it, God never softly announced anything. He voice it with strength and its absoluteness. JMHO.

I heard him comment that his prime was already past and relistening to older songs he felt he couldn't sing them better now and the way to keep being able to sing he had to take care of his body, and improve his strength, as a metal singer needs much more effort to sing that genre. Well, we like it, lol!!!

It was the Christmas present that Dan's followers had been waiting for - with the eagerness of a child on Eve. It was worth the wait! I am still impacted by the power with which these very necessary words were packaged... There was a roller coaster - where Victor shined! And there was the chaos and destruction of an old world - bringing the thunder that heralded a New Era. There is a LOT of Light being moved there - perhaps as much as there is in Daniel's "Amazing Grace" version; the difference is that all this Light now came in the form of a storm. Yes… Daniel brought us the storm!! And this washed our soul... And we just have to thank him. 🥹 Thank you very much for your reaction. May the new year bring you health, joy and peace every day! Loved your reactions & comments. “Video and a gun show all at the same time” made me laugh. Dan dropped a teaser on “X”…he’s working on his next song. The clue is “Near. Far.” In the clip he’s playing a keyboard, making the background instrumental track and it reminds me of a movie I saw a long time ago about a huge ship. Victor…you’ll never see his face on Dan’s channel but if you’re curious (like I was) to see what he looks like he plays guitar for a group called “Eleine.” (spelled exactly like this.) I watched the song “Memoriam”, none of the other ones. I don’t know why he wants to hide his face except when he plays for Eleine. There’s absolutely nothing the matter with his looks. He identifies himself a guitar nerd, so I don’t think he’s self-conscious of that. Maybe just an introvert who likes his privacy.

I read that Victor wants his music to be the center of attention, not what he looks like. However, I think it makes us all very curious so I was glad to put a face to his awesome playing when I watched Eleine!

Victor reminds me of Buckethead. By always playing guitar with a bucket (originally a KFC bucket) over his head, he could go anywhere without the bucket and be "incognito." I think they're both phenomenal. Love your reactions.

This song is definitely going to be a perennial favorite in my home. Dan and Victor make such a strong team. I'm glad we reap the benefits of this collaboration. Dan has been working out for quite a while. He also says that he eats "clean" except for one day a week. His "cheat" day. We all need those. It makes me sad that he thinks he's past his vocal prime. I sure can't tell it. Anyway, I'm glad you're both recovering. No fun being sick. ❤
