It's often forgotten though that, for all her ribbing, teasing and bullying... she actually, honestly CARES for people. She bullies Ei and calls her out as childish but also made sure to help her get out of her cage and enjoy life. She teases Gorou but at the same time tells him to be more sure of himself. She messes with Itto's allergies but she DID quit before it would do him permanent harm (possibly; tried to teach him a lesson but he's a himbo and it didn't stick). Bit of a bellend, but she does care, in her way.

Doesn't it strike you as weird that despite it being something that Itto is SEVERELY allergic to and something that Yae absolutely loves to gorge on, Itto won? Doesn't it make more sense that Yae was either playing with him or trying to teach him a lesson? Well, trying being the operative word; himbos gonna himbo so all he did was become even MORE headstrong.
