Thank you for review. It has very decent flight time in atmosphere, about an hour and 10-15 minutes, which is enough for a shuttle. The crash protection didn't work at first because it was in ARMED state, if you spawned it above 4000 meters initially like you did later - it would work. It's mostly used for reentry. It's better that parachutes because you don't need to reload it with materials, and it costs just 75 PCU (timer, event controller, 2 AI blocks), parachutes cost 50 PCU each and don't scale from your ship size. @@LucaTheGuide I use BuildInfo mod that tells me how much fuel I have left in tanks for all ships I build, and I measure fuel time in hover mode, since I think it's representative of usual use case. If you cruise around a planet with proper techniques you'd burn about 10% more than just hovering, if you're going to the planet you're burning 0 fuel on descent, if you're going out of planet - you will be burning a lot of fuel initially but with cruise control this ship has you will burn less fuel the further you ascend. 1 hour is quite decent for a trading ship, It can last for about 3-4 interplanetary trades and you can refuel at the NPC stations.

10:50 that ship explosion pattern reminds me of the way capital ships would explode in the old X-Wing flight sim games.

well the armor of this thing looks like paper thin ^^ this makes it faster but like luca said u need more truster 4 steering ^^ and with this low mass u need less fuel i think ^^ and it could take more shots from lucas ship the i was thinking ^^

Hmm, but why would you need more armor on what is essentially a passenger transport? It's great for how absolutely cheap it is, and in vanilla you can use it for trading/contracts. Your best bet is outrunning your enemies and jumping.

Yeah c= I was just hoping it has more side thrusters so it can tilt in gravity more especially when loaded with things and heavy x3

@@LucaTheGuide I don't think there was a way to put more side thrusters on it honestly, this ship probably has more functional blocks than armor blocks but I tried (and I think succeeded) in making it look like a proper ship. It's very lightweight as it is, so 1 thruster per side should be alright. I have ships with worse lateral thrust. Honestly I don't worry much about lateral thrust, because I just use my skill in flying to compensate lacking side thrust.
